40. Talyn Hunter, IOL
Transferring From: Old Dominion Monarchs

Talyn Hunter enrolled at ODU in 2020. He redshirted in 2021, but hasn't seen much, if any, game action since then. Consequently, Hunter appears to have one year of eligibility remaining and is looking to spend it with a new program, entering the spring transfer portal back in March.
1. Markevious Brown
Transferring From: Purdue Boilermakers

Markevious Brown couldn’t build off the success of his 2023 campaign. Last season, Brown recorded just nine tackles and three pass deflections, stepping away from the program after just four games. The reasons for Brown’s departure are unclear. However, he was able to preserve his final season of eligibility. Brown could be a difference-maker in virtually any secondary if he's at his best.
2. Jakiah Leftwich, OL
Transferring From: North Carolina Tar Heels

Jakiah Leftwich has spent the past four seasons in the college ranks, three years with Georgia Tech and one year with the North Carolina Tar Heels. The junior offensive lineman appeared in six games for the Tar Heels in 2024, electing to enter the winter transfer portal. Leftwich re-entered the portal this spring after initially committing to the UCF Knights.
3. Cortez Braham Jr., WR
Transferring From: Nevada Wolfpack

A change of scenery was needed to help Cortez Braham Jr. reach his potential. After fizzling out with the West Virginia Mountaineers, Braham found his rhythm with the Nevada Wolfpack last season. There, he went off for 724 yards and four touchdowns on 56 receptions. Braham Jr. could be looking for a move back to a Power 4 team.
4. Josh Philostin, CB
Transferring From: Indiana Hoosiers

Josh Philostin departs Bloomington without appearing on the field for the Indiana Hoosiers. The three-star recruit signed on with the Hoosiers ahead of the 2024 season, but didn’t see game action as a freshman. While slightly undersized, Philostin plays at a breakneck speed and is ideally suited for a coverage role.
5. Aidan Glover, QB
Transferring From: Missouri Tigers

Aidan Glover signed on with the Missouri Tigers ahead of the 2024 campaign, but didn’t take to the field as a freshman. The Tennessee native must not have seen any playing time in his near future either, as the quarterback decided to enter the transfer portal back in December. Still without a team for the upcoming campaign, playing time will likely be a priority for Glover.
6. Zeed Haynes, WR
Transferring From: Syracuse Orange

Even with the departure of the Syracuse Orange’s top three pass-catchers, Zeed Haynes is looking for a change of scenery. Including passes thrown to LeQuint Allen, Syracuse needs to replace 299 receptions and nearly 3,500 receiving yards. That’s not including Haynes’ eight receptions or 97 yards. Initially committing to Georgia in 2022, the wideout could be looking for a spot on a more prominent team.
7. Evan Taylor, CB
Transferring From: Nebraska Cornhuskers

All signs pointed toward Evan Taylor enjoying a prosperous career with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska appeared to be his preferred destination among all the programs courting the cornerback. Then, after enrolling ahead of the 2024 season and not seeing the field, Taylor decided to enter the spring transfer portal. Still looking for his next destination, Taylor remains a solid three-star prospect.
8. Jack Hasz, IOL
A JUCO transfer back in 2022, Jack Hasz went from the Buffalo Bulls to the UNLV Rebels. He started all 14 games for the Rebels in 2023 before earning Honorable Mention for the All-Mountain West team last season. The versatile offensive lineman has settled into the center position and entered the spring transfer portal ahead of his final season of eligibility.
9. Marcus Scott II, CB
Transferring From: California Golden Bears

Marcus Scott II officially enrolled with the Missouri Tigers in January 2022. But after transferring to the California Golden Bears ahead of the 2023 campaign, he has yet to see meaningful game action. The three-star cornerback is known for his track-level speed, but has yet to show his coverage skills on the gridiron. That lack of playing time necessitated a shift ahead of his junior season.
10. Dylan Tapley, TE
Transferring From: Arizona Wildcats

Dylan Tapley, a decorated high school athlete, didn’t see the field as a freshman. The tight end spent his freshman season with the Arizona Wildcats, playing behind many top receiving options. Tapley entered the spring transfer portal seeking a new opportunity and a chance to earn a more prominent role on offense.
11. Cameron Jones, RB
Transferring From: UCLA Bruins

Cameron Jones, another freshman who entered the transfer portal, remains a top running back prospect with a promising ceiling. Although he didn’t see game action as a true freshman with the UCLA Bruins, Jones accumulated north of 1,000 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns in his final high school season. His unforgiving rushing style would be a welcome addition to many teams.
12. TJ Finley, QB
Once a highly sought-after quarterback prospect out of high school, TJ Finley has spent the last five years bouncing around different programs. He started with LSU in 2020, making stops at Auburn, Texas State, and Western Kentucky. The 6’7’’ quarterback burned a redshirt year and had an extra season of eligibility added due to COVID, meaning this will be his sixth season on a college football roster. His most productive season came back in 2023, when he threw for 3,439 yards and 24 touchdowns with Texas State.
13. Ethan Hilliman, WR
Despite being initially a part of the 2020 recruiting class, Ethan Hilliman has two years of eligibility remaining. The electric wideout went the JUCO route before landing with the Sacred Heart Pioneers ahead of the 2023 season. Known for his athletic catches, Hilliman is looking to test his skills against the best premier competition in the country.
14. Alexander Whitmore, DL
Transferring From: UNLV Rebels

Another defensive lineman looking to escape the desert, Alexander Whitmore, hopes to exhaust his final season of eligibility with another program. The defensive end spent the past two seasons with the UNLV Rebels, accumulating 70 tackles and 4.5 sacks over that stretch. Any team looking for a disruptive presence on the defensive line would benefit by adding Whitmore.

15. Nate Spillman, WR
Transferring From: Charlotte 49ers

While he is officially transferring from the Charlotte 49ers, Nate Spillman's time with the program was short-lived. The wideout transferred to Charlotte this winter, deciding to re-try his hand in the transfer portal this summer. Spillman spent his freshman campaign with the Tennessee Volunteers, seeing no meaningful action.
16. Mali Hamrick, EDGE
Out of high school, Mali Hamrick was one of the premier edge rushers available. Ranked 15th nationally, Hamrick signed with the North Carolina Tar Heels. Three seasons, six games, and zero sacks later, the North Carolina native entered the transfer portal. While he could still end up being a productive edge rusher, Hamrick is running out of time to prove that he has what it takes.
17. Ryan Pellum, WR
Transferring From: Oregon Ducks

Another freshman seeking a new opportunity, Ryan Pellum, departed the Oregon Ducks this offseason. Officially listed as a wide receiver, Pellum’s only stats in 2024 were recorded on defense and special teams. A consensus four-star recruit out of high school, Pellum’s profile has taken a bit of a hit after a lackluster freshman campaign.
18. Trejan Bridges, WR
Transferring From: Central Arkansas Bears

A former five-star recruit, Trejan Bridges, is continuing his path to redemption. While he’s seemingly put his off-field issues to bed, Bridges still has something to prove on the field. The wide receiver spent last season with the Central Arkansas Bears, following a JUCO stint after being removed from the Oklahoma Sooners. Still loaded with talent, Bridges could burn his final season of eligibility with a more prominent program.
19. Dre Martin, DL
Transferring From: Charlotte 49ers

Count Dre Martin as another Charlotte 49ers player seeking a new home. The defensive lineman had an improved sophomore campaign, registering 18 total tackles and one pass defended. The hulking prospect missed some time with an injury, but could see his profile skyrocket if he stays on the field.
20. George Silva, OT
Transferring From: Oregon Ducks

Just a couple of years ago, George Silva was considered the top JUCO transfer in the country. His reputation earned him a spot with the Oregon Ducks. However, Silva is looking to rebuild his reputation after two underwhelming seasons. He played just 30 snaps as a senior in 2024 and earned an extra season of eligibility following his JUCO stint.
21. Moses Gray, RB
Transferring From: Southern Miss Golden Eagles

Moses Gray's time with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles was short-lived. After transferring to Southern Miss during the winter transfer window, Gray re-entered the spring portal after offseason workouts. Entering his sophomore campaign, the running back will be looking to improve on his seven carries and 25 yards from last season.

Transferring From: Arkansas Razorbacks

An unproductive campaign with the Arkansas Razorbacks has forced Khafre Brown to look for a new landing spot ahead of the 2025 football season. The wide receiver has shown promise throughout his career, but has failed to earn a prominent role on offense in any of his three stops. Heading into his sixth season, Brown is prioritizing playing time.

After committing to the Tulane Green Wave over the winter, Robbie Pizzolato has had a change of heart. The interior offensive lineman re-entered the transfer portal this spring searching for a new opportunity. Spending three seasons with Nicholls State, Pizzolato has plenty of experience on the offensive line.

Transferring From: Emory & Henry College Wasps

Ean Rhea is looking to make the jump to the FBS ahead of the 2025 campaign. The edge rusher spent the past three seasons with the Emory & Henry College Wasps, registering 46 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 2024. A relatively unknown commodity, several teams could be interested in what Rhea has to offer.

Transferring From: USF Bulls

K'Wan Powell has missed two of the past four seasons, sitting out 2021 due to an injury and not appearing in any games in 2024. His prospect of taking the field with the USF Bulls in 2025 looked bleak, precipitating a move to the transfer portal. In 17 career games, Powell has churned out 236 rushing yards on 85 carries.
26. Jaidyn Doss, WR
Transferring From: Nebraska Cornhuskers

Jaidyn Doss has fallen out of favor with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After recording two receptions for 20 yards in 2023, the wide receiver transitioned to a defensive back in 2024. He appeared in one game for the Cornhuskers. Doss's move back to the portal could signal his intent to reignite his offensive potential.

It has been a busy offseason for Jayden Anderson. The incoming freshman committed to the Virginia Tech Hokies a few months ago, but has since rescinded his commitment and re-entered the transfer portal. A standout wide receiver in high school, Anderson is probably looking for an opportunity to make a more immediate impact.

Transferring From: Arkansas Razorbacks

A redshirt junior in 2024, Aidan McCowan has been used sparingly with the Arkansas Razorbacks. The cornerback appeared in just one game last season, recording a pass breakup in the Razorbacks' season-opening win versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Wherever he lands, McCowan will be looking to take on a more prominent role on defense.

Despite starting his college career in 2019, Jayden Williams appears to have one season of college eligibility remaining. The cornerback has spent time with the USC Trojans, Miami (OH) RedHawks, and most recently, the Texas Southern Tigers.

Transferring From: Duke Blue Devils

After four years of an increasing workload with Mercer, Al Wooten II transferred to the Duke Blue Devils ahead of the 2024 campaign. But after appearing in just one game, the running back has preserved a final season of eligibility. Wooten will likely have to accept an offer from a Group of Five school, if not scour the FCS for a starting gig.

Transferring From: West Virginia Mountaineers

Jacolby Spells has spent the first three seasons of his college career with the West Virginia Mountaineers. But after failing to work his way into a more prominent role, the cornerback entered the spring transfer portal in search of a new opportunity. Spells could be a valuable addition, coming off 13 tackles and an interception as a junior.
32. Tyler Aronson, QB
Transferring From: SMU Mustangs

Quarterback Tyler Aronson did not take to the field as a freshman, and didn’t like his chances of breaking through with the SMU Mustangs next season, either. The former three-star recruit must sharpen his teeth with a program before he can earn a starting gig.

Transferring From: Wyoming Cowboys

While he is technically transferring from the Wyoming Cowboys, Dawan Martin never actually played for them. The edge rusher spent the past four years with the Youngstown State Penguins, totaling 31 tackles in parts of four seasons (only three seasons of eligibility). He committed to the Cowboys this winter, electing to re-try his hand in the portal this spring.
34. Dasheen Jackson, S
Transferring From: UAB Blazers

Dasheen Jackson is coming off a modest junior campaign. The safety registered 23 tackles and an interception with the Alabama State Hornets, and is looking to parlay that into a new opportunity ahead of the 2025 campaign. Initially committing to the UAB Blazers, Jackson re-entered the spring transfer portal.
35. Tristan Monday, DL
Transferring From: Arizona State Sun Devils

Tristan Monday started his college career as a true freshman with the Wisconsin Badgers in 2022. Without appearing in a game, the defensive lineman transferred to the Arizona State Sun Devils for the 2023 season. He recorded nine tackles while appearing in 11 games. Monday didn't play in 2024 and is seeking a change of scenery for next season.

Transferring From: San Diego State Aztecs

After his redshirt senior season was cut short due to injury, Wyatt Draeger entered the transfer portal seeking a new opportunity following a medical redshirt year. The defensive lineman has been a depth option for the San Diego State Aztecs, accumulating 21 tackles across his four-year stint.
