1. Mississippi State Bulldogs

Mississippi State makes a ton of sense for Jackson Arnold and the program. It's easy to see Arnold being an upgrade over other options in their quarterback room, which should create even more buzz around this possibility. The Bulldogs need to create positive headlines this offseason after landing at the basement of the SEC. Making a play for Arnold is a great way to lead the charge in that category. 

2. USC Trojans

With Miller Moss entering the transfer portal, there's a real potential opening in the USC quarterback room. Will there be competition for the starter's job? Absolutely. Still, this landing spot makes a ton of sense for Jackson Arnold. The path is there for Arnold to land the starting job in a good program. Will he see it that way, or does he want more security as the top dog?

3. Arkansas Razorbacks

This one is a big of a wild card. Maybe the Razorbacks don't want to mess with what they've done at the quarterback position. Maybe they want to roll the dice on the potential that a former five-Star recruit brings to the table. The Razorbacks had some strong moments in 2024, including some upsets. Will they get greedy and potentially put themselves in the market based on upside alone? This will be an interesting team to follow. If you want to make noise in the SEC, you need to take chances and put yourself up against the elites. 

4. UCF Knights

If you connect the dots, there's definitely some merit in suggesting that Jackson Arnold and the UCF Knights could be a match. There's going to be real competition for this player in the portal based on upside alone, which will get the attention of Scott Frost. To say it was a down year for the Knights in 2024 would be an understatement. They need to make a splash in a big way, and targeting Arnold would do exactly that. 

5. Missouri Tigers

The Missouri Tigers are going to be in line for another starting quarterback entering 2025. The Tigers are going to have a new look offense in 2025, that's not a secret. Still, part of the offensive line should remain in place, which leaves some confidence that this could be a successful relationship. If the Tigers want to bounce back after underachieving in 2024, this would be a potentially good start.
