Chicago Bears
NFL Draft: Ranking the Top Tight Ends
2025 NFL Draft Position: #10 overall
Super Bowl LX Odds: +4900
A 4-2 start to the season was quickly undone by the Chicago Bears. The once-mighty franchise would go on to lose 10 straight before ending the campaign with a 5-12 record. A win in Week 18 moved the Bears down the NFL Draft board, putting them in a prime spot to draft Ashton Jeanty.
After a slow start, D'Andre Swift posted respectable numbers in the Windy City. The 25-year-old ended the season with 959 rushing yards on 253 carries. Still, Swift wasn't effective enough to alleviate the pressure off rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. He had only one 100-yard rushing game last season and wasn't a legitimate scoring threat.
Assuredly, Ashton Jeanty would be an upgrade over D'Andre Swift. With the 10th overall selection, the Bears are in an ideal spot to snag the running back out from underneath the Cowboys. Don't be surprised if they pull off the unexpected and draft the Boise State back.

Dallas Cowboys
NFL Draft: Ranking the Top Quarterbacks
2025 NFL Draft Position: #12 overall
Super Bowl LX Odds: +5500
No team needs to reinvigorate their ground game more than the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas hasn't had a premier rusher since Ezekiel Elliott tormented the league all those years ago. As such, the Cowboys are hoping Ashton Jeanty falls to them in the 12-spot.
The Cowboys were among the worst in every rushing category. They totaled the sixth-fewest rushing yards and third-fewest yards per rushing attempt, forcing them to become a one-dimensional offense despite having one of the best offensive lines in football.
We saw what Jeanty could do in his junior season, going north of 2,600 rushing yards with the Boise State Broncos. That's exactly the type of downhill running the Cowboys have been missing for years.

Jacksonville Jaguars
NFL Draft: Ranking the Top Running Backs
2025 NFL Draft Position: #5 overall
Super Bowl LX Odds: +6000
The Jacksonville Jaguars have a choice to make with the fifth-overall selection. The Jags appeared to be on the rise until 2024's disastrous campaign. If they believe in Trevor Lawrence and trust him to bounce back, this would be an ideal opportunity to add a new dimension to their offense.
Travis Etienne fell off a cliff in 2024. The former first-round draft pick totaled a paltry 558 rushing yards in 15 games, averaging just 3.7 yards per carry. Sadly, that isn't much of a decline from the 3.8 he mustered in 2023. While he only got one start, Tank Bigsby easily out-paced Etienne this past season. So, the temptation might be to let Bigsby assume the lead-back role.
However, adding Jeanty would allow the Jags to move on from Etienne while establishing a dual running back committee, a la the Detroit Lions. If they think he's the best player available, Jacksonville shouldn't pass up Jeanty.
New Orleans Saints
2025 NFL Draft: 5 Teams That Should Draft Shedeur Sanders
2025 NFL Draft Position: #9 overall
Super Bowl LX Odds: +12000
Alvin Kamara isn't the running back he once was, and that could force the New Orleans Saints into drafting his successor at the 2025 NFL Draft. They're in a prime position to select Jeanty with the ninth overall selection.
Kamara's ideal role is in a pass-catching capacity. The 29-year-old has never eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards and has failed to surpass 4.0 yards per carry in any of his last four seasons. Across that more recent stretch, he's averaging 3.9 yards per carry while missing multiple games in every campaign.
Jeanty is a perfect solution to New Orleans' rushing problem. His presence in the backfield takes the pressure off Kamara in the rushing attack, insulating Derek Carr on every down. Kamara still has something to offer, but the Saints can extend his shelf life by bringing in Jeanty.
Denver Broncos
NFL Draft: Ranking the Top Wide Receivers
2025 NFL Draft Position: #20 overall
Super Bowl LX Odds: +5500
The emergence of Bo Nix has brought renewed optimism to the Denver Broncos. Adding a primary rusher of Ashton Jeanty's ilk only amplifies their outlook.
The Broncos gave Javonte Williams all the time and space he needed to develop, but it's clear that things aren't working out. The former 35th-overall selection has accumulated just 1,287 rushing yards over the last two seasons while appearing in all but one of Denver's 34 contests. While Jaleel McLaughlin took over as the 2024 season progressed, he still didn't shine as the premier back.
Nix and Jeanty could wreak havoc in the thin mountain air of Mile High Stadium. The Broncos have to be hoping that Jeanty falls to them at the 20th pick in the draft.
