On Thanksgiving Day, the Chicago Bears are set for a divisional battle against the Detroit Lions. Entering this matchup, Detroit is coming off a dominant win in Week 12 over the Indianapolis Colts, where the defense didn’t allow a touchdown. Meanwhile, the Bears are looking to snap their five-game losing streak after another heartbreaking loss. Expect a dogfight between these two historic franchises in a game that likely means more for each organization.
Bears vs Lions
I’ll focus on Dan Campbell’s squad for this article as the Lions look to clinch their postseason ticket early after a 10-1 start to the season.

1. Amon-Ra St. Brown 80+ Receiving Yards +116
- Amon-Ra St.Brown has continued to prove he’s one of the best wide receivers in the NFL this season. The wideout is up to 71 receptions, 747 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns on the season. Considering his weekly volume, he has a high chance to put together a big game against the Bears.
-
Over the years, St.Brown has made it clear that he takes the Lions-Bears rivalry seriously. In addition, the challenge of being defended by one of the best cornerbacks in the league, Jaylon Johnson, will likely get the competitive juices flowing. Expect the Lions star to look to prove a point on Thanksgiving day.
-
The Lions are finally back to full health on offense, and the return of Sam LaPorta and Jameson Williams should allow St.Brown to impact the game as he’s known to do.

2. Jahmyr Gibbs 80+ Rushing Yards +136
- Jahmyr Gibbs has taken the league by storm since being drafted out of Alabama in last year’s NFL Draft. The running back leads the Lions’ backfield up to this point with 886 rushing yards and ten touchdowns on the season.
- Through the team’s 11 games, Gibbs is averaging 80.5 rushing yards per matchup.
- The Bears’ defense has allowed 129.7 rushing yards per game through their first 11 games this season. And against a shifty rusher like Gibbs, Chicago will have difficulty slowing down the speedster.
- Gibbs has exceeded the 80-yard rushing mark five times this season in a split backfield. With David Montgomery dealing with a shoulder injury, Gibbs could be used more.
