MNF Bengals vs. Cowboys Best Bets
MNF Player Props: Bengals | Cowboys
NFL Playoff Picture: AFC | NFC
Leg 1: Joe Burrow 2+ Passing Touchdowns
As disappointing as the Bengals season has become, Joe Burrow and the passing offense have not been the issue. He’s thrown for 15 touchdowns across the past four weeks, throwing at least three touchdowns each game. Nothing about the Dallas defense is impressive enough to slow Burrow down. We’ll count on him to throw two touchdowns to kick off our parlay.
Leg 2: Ja’Marr Chase 6+ Receptions
Ja’Marr Chase has been the best wide receiver in football this season. He enters tonight having caught at least six balls in five straight weeks, averaging just over 12 targets per game. He’s a near-guarantee to be targetted at least ten times, which should be more than enough volume to get us six catches.
Leg 3: Tee Higgins 60+ Receiving Yards
Tee Higgins has been fantastic when on the field this year. He’s recorded at least 60 yards in six of seven games. Since returning from injury two weeks ago, he’s combined for 14 catches off of 23 targets for 217 yards and two touchdowns. All we need is 60 yards, which shouldn’t be a problem as long as the Bengals offense doesn’t completely disappear.
Leg 4: Chase Brown 4+ Receptions
We’re not entirely confident in the Bengals’ willingness to keep the football on the ground enough to give Chase Brown the rushing volume to warrant a wager, so we’ll look to his reception mark. We’ll get a little aggressive and back him to make four catches, but he’s done so in three of the last four weeks and now gets to face a Dallas defense that will want to blitz Burrow a lot, resulting in a ton of check-downs.
Leg 5: Rico Dowdle 50+ Rushing Yards
Rico Dowdle has carried the ball 19 and 22 times across his last two games, averaging 99 yards per game. We need him to give us 50 yards tonight, which he should be able to do even if he gets 15 carries. The Cowboys want to keep the ball on the ground, and they should have enough success against the Bengals’ defense to run the football confidently for most of the game.
Leg 6: Jalen Tolbert 2+ Receptions
Looking at the Cowboys’ pass catchers, I’m unsure what to expect from CeeDee Lamb, but on a smaller scale, we can trust Jalen Tolbert to make two catches for us. He’s done so in 11 straight games. That’s all I need to hear.
