Browns vs Broncos Best Bet ATS: Browns +6.5 (-115)

After picking up a victory on Thursday Night Football over the Steelers in Week 12, the Browns will try and make it two in a row when they visit the Mile High City in Week 13. To say the Broncos have been a surprise this season would be an understatement. Bo Nix struggled early but has since turned a corner and looks like a real starting quarterback. On the other hand, the Browns defense has struggled for large portions of the year, which few people saw coming. In Week 12, it looked as though Cleveland’s defense potentially turned a corner against Pittsburgh. Even though the Browns don’t have much to play for at this stage in the year, Nix has shown gashes in his armor when he’s been pressured, which is something the Browns’ defense does at a high clip when playing to their potential. As much as I’ve been impressed with the Broncos sitting in a playoff spot entering Week 13, this feels like too many points for me in this matchup. Denver wins, Cleveland covers.

Browns vs Broncos Best Bet Total: OVER 41.5 (-115)

This is an interesting line set for the total. Making a case for either side is reasonable, which might create some hesitancy here. The Browns and Broncos have some potent weapons on defense, which might make the initial lean fall toward the under. Still, we’re flipping the script tonight. Three of the last four Browns’ games have exceeded the number, including multiple matchups against competent defenses. As much as these defenses might make you expect a low-scoring affair, the offenses can quietly hum in the right setting. You might not see the name value in some players on offense in this matchup, but these teams can create explosive plays at a high clip. I give a lean toward the over 41.5 on Monday night.
