Michael Penix Jr. and Caleb Williams Expected to Face Off This Week

Dr. Zhao expects both Michael Penix Jr. and Caleb Williams to start when Atlanta faces Chicago this week.

Penix left the game against the Ravens with a rib issue, but Dr. Zhao does not expect a fracture or rib cartilage injury. The hit was painful, and the area tightened up while Penix was on the bench, preventing him from returning to the game.

Williams appears ready to return from his hamstring injury. Based on his pregame workout, he should be able to play quarterback this week. He may not have his usual mobility, but even a less-mobile Williams would provide an upgrade for the Bears.
