Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From Outspoken With Dan Sileo

Chargers’ 0-5 Start Raises Questions About Mike McDaniel and Jim Harbaugh

The Los Angeles Chargers dropped a tight game to the Denver Broncos and fell to 0-5 as their offense continued to struggle. Justin Herbert does not look comfortable, and Mike McDaniel has been unable to spark the running game.

Omarion Hampton was expected to be a breakout candidate, but he is splitting carries with Keaton Mitchell and Kamani Vidal. The partnership has not worked, raising the possibility of changes after the season.

McDaniel could be on a very hot seat, while Jim Harbaugh may also face questions despite having a longer leash. The Chargers have performed far below expectations this season.

Then again, maybe the warning signs appeared during training camp. As the saying goes, when you are doing footsies on the sidelines, it might already be over.
