United States vs Canada Game Pick
Starting with the United States, how could we not begin with the show Matthew Tkachuk and Brady Tkachuk put on display Thursday night against Finland? They showed the world why they are so crucial in these high-stakes games as both brothers scored two goals and were without question the reason for a United States victory. The US pulled away from Finland, winning in a final score of 6-1. Considering tonight’s matchup, the Americans will need the Tkachuk brothers to show out again and get Auston Matthews going. Jack Eichel seemed to fit nicely on the Tkachuk brothers’ line. Matt Boldy and Jake Guentzel looked impressive, both picking up a goal and an assist. On the blue line, Zach Werenski had three assists on Thursday and did a fantastic job getting pucks to the net. Expect Connor Hellebuyck to start in the net again. He let in a soft one to start the game on Thursday but was rock solid from there on out.
On the Canada side of things, their top guys looked unbelievable against Sweden on Wednesday night. Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, Sidney Crosby, and Mitch Marner, to name a few, were outstanding and put on display the pure speed and skill that they can bring. That third line of Brayden Point, Brad Marchand, and Seth Jarvis also looked like a good fit. On defense, the Canadian blue line was solid. However, they lost Shea Theodore to injury, and he will miss the remainder of the tournament. This means Travis Sanheim will step in as a replacement, someone to keep an eye on. As for goaltending, do the Canadians run it back with Jordan Binnington in the net, or do they go with Adin Hill? It will be interesting to see what head coach Jon Cooper decides.
For my best bet pick, I think it’s wise to stay away from the moneyline and the spread in this game and instead take the over 6.5 total. These two teams are bound to score many goals, and I could easily see it, at a bare minimum, ending 4-3.

United States vs Canada Top Player Prop Pick
For the United States, how are Brady Tkachuk’s anytime goal odds at +300? He was terrific on Thursday, so I like his value. Another bet I like is that Matthew Tkachuk will get 2+ points at +400. I believe the brothers can crank it into another gear in big games like they did against Finland.
Top USA Player Prop: Brady Tkachuk Anytime Goalscorer (+300)
I really like Cale Makar as an anytime goalscorer at +500 for Canada. This guy is an absolute monster, and I think he’ll get one tonight against the United States. I also really like Connor McDavid for 2+ points at +220. McDavid was quieter than expected on Wednesday, which is usually a sign he’ll bounce back in the next game.
Top Canadian Player Prop: Cale Makar Anytime Goalscorer (+500)
