1. (Tie) Southern Miss Golden Eagles vs. Florida State Seminoles (Moneyline: FSU -10,000)

The Florida State Seminoles had one of the marquee wins in Week 1, easily dispatching the LSU Tigers on primetime. That confidence tilted their Week 2 line even further as they enter Saturday’s non-conference battle against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles with the chalkiest line on the board.

1. (Tie) Stanford Cardinal vs. USC Trojans (Moneyline: USC -10,000)

This week’s contest will be the USC Trojans’ third matchup of the season but their first Pac-12 showdown. Caleb Williams and company open up conference play against the Stanford Cardinal, who won and covered as short faves against Hawai’i. Stanford faces a much different line in this one.

3. Charlotte 49ers vs. Maryland Terrapins (Moneyline: Maryland -3,330)

After missing out on a bowl game for four straight seasons, the Maryland Terrapins are looking to make it three straight under Mike Locksley. There’s a good chance the Terrapins build off their season-opening victory, currently priced as -3,330 favorites against the Charlotte 49ers.

4. (Tie) Western Michigan Broncos vs. Syracuse Orange (Moneyline: Syracuse -2,500)

It’s hard to believe, but we’re only a month and a half away from enjoying Tuesday night MAC-tion. For now, the Western Michigan Broncos are on the road, taking on the Syracuse Orange. Bettors have taken a stance on the hosts in this tilt, installing Syracuse as a prohibitive favorite.

4. (Tie)  Memphis Tigers vs. Arkansas State Red Wolves (Moneyline: Memphis -2,500)

The Memphis Tigers are the highest-priced road chalk on the Week 2 schedule. Memphis travels to Jonesboro to take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves. The Oklahoma Sooners pasted the Red Wolves in Week 1, although bettors aren’t expecting a different result in Week 2.

6. Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders vs. Missouri Tigers (Moneyline: Mizzou -1,670)

Another lowly SEC squad is heavily favored in a non-conference tilt, as the Missouri Tigers host the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. Mizzou failed to cover as steep faves in Week 1 and could face a sincere challenge from the Blue Raiders, who open their season with back-to-back SEC matchups.

7. Eastern Michigan Eagles vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers (Moneyline: Minnesota -1,250)

The Minnesota Golden Gophers staged one of the most dramatic comebacks early this season. Minnesota erased a 10-3 deficit with less than three minutes to go, knocking off the Nebraska Corn Huskers 13-10. They’ll hope for a more convincing win against the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday.

8. Appalachian State Mountaineers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels (Moneyline: UNC -900)

Known for their upset abilities, the Appalachian State Mountaineers could put the North Carolina Tar Heels on notice. App State enters the unofficial third week of the season as one of the biggest underdogs, but the big dog’s gotta eat at some point.

9. (Tie) Air Force Falcons vs. Sam Houston State Bearkats (Moneyline: Air Force -830)

The Sam Houston State Bearkats’ tenure as an FBS school is off to a decent start. The Bearkats came up short against the BYU Cougars on Saturday, managing to cover the spread as three-score underdogs. This week, they face a similar challenge, hosting the Air Force Falcons as comfortable -830 chalk.

9. (Tie) Troy Trojans vs. Kansas State Wildcats (Moneyline: KSU -830)

Losses will be few and far between for the Kansas State Wildcats. KSU entered the campaign ranked in the top 25, posting two of the steepest lines on the board to open the season. The Troy Trojans will be hoping for a better fate than the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks, who were trounced 45-0 by the Wildcats.

9. (Tie) SMU Mustangs vs. Oklahoma Sooners (Moneyline: Oklahoma -830)

Boomer Sooner! The Oklahoma Sooners flashed their offensive prowess earlier this year, dropping 73 points in a Week 1 win over Arkansas State. The SMU Mustangs don’t have the defensive structure to limit the Sooners, and that’s reflected in this one-sided line.
