Tour Championship PGA Best Bets

Scottie Scheffler

It would be disingenuous for us to look elsewhere from Scottie Scheffler in a tournament where he starts out at -10 with a two-shot lead over Xander Schauffele and an even bigger number over some of the other participants. That’s the reward you get for having the most dominant golf season in recent memory. Although there’s not really value in the number, Scheffeler having a lead isn’t something we take lightly in this setting, and we’re certainly not going to fade that on our card. 

Best Bet: Scheffler to Win Outright (+115)

Xander Schauffele

If it’s not Scheffeler, it would hardly be a surprise to see Xander Schauffele win. Schauffele starts out at -8 and has already picked up two major victories this season. Closing the year out with a bang and taking home the Tour Championship would only be icing on the cake. The consistency that Schauffele offers weekly is unbelievable. 

Best Bets: Schauffele to Win Outright (+280)

Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa is a player we’ll have our sights on this week. He’s had a strong season, but we’ve been waiting for him to close it out at a signature event. This would be a great start, even if he enters Round 1 trailing Scheffler by six shots. Morikawa has demonstrated he knows how to stay in the mix, and we’ll expect nothing less from him here. If he’s in contention by Saturday and has trimmed the deficit, don’t be surprised if he wins outright.

Tour Championship PGA Longshots

Wyndham Clark

There hasn’t been much to be excited about from a winning standpoint for Wyndham Clark in 2024. Besides his U.S. Open victory last year, we haven’t really seen him perform well on the big stage. With Clark starting out in a strong position here, he has the skillset on this type of golf course to get as hot as anyone in this field. If he can dial it in with his approach, we like for him to be in the mix. His current price is a nice value. 

Best Bet: Clark to Win Outright (+4500)

Viktor Hovland

Viktor Hovland is right up there with the most purely talented players on tour. Even though he’s beginning play eight shots back, he’s the type of player that can consistently cut into big deficits with his putting and driving ability. There’s some value in looking toward Hovland’s outright price. 

Best Bet: Hovland to Win Outright (+7500)
