Olympic Games Paris 2024 Golf Best Bets: Who to Back in France

Sepp Straka (+4500)
There are few hitting the ball as well as Sepp Straka right now on the PGA Tour. He already has three top-five finishes to his name in 2024 and has experience with pressure situations as a two-time winner on the tour. If he can capture his masterful ball striking and sink a few long putts over the weekend, he could become a threat and climb the odds board rapidly with a few good rounds to open things up on Thursday and Friday. Back him here as our flyer pick.

Xander Schauffele (+550)
In almost any other circumstance, a two-time major winner entering this event would be the favorite. Instead, you're getting a great price on Xander Schauffele with all of the hype surrounding Scottie Scheffler. Since his dominant run in the first half of the PGA Tour season, Scheffler has cooled off a bit, and the market doesn't seem to have fully adjusted to Schauffele's current dominance. Take him at this price at the Summer Olympics. He should shine on the first day to get you down to the favorite or at least level with Scheffler entering the weekend.
Jon Rahm (+900)
Jon Rahm is in top form entering this tournament after taking down LIV Golf UK for his first win on the tour this season. It looked like a massive weight off his shoulders when he won the event last weekend, and it means that the pressure may be off, and the floodgates could be opened ahead of this weekend in Paris. The former world No. 1 has proven in the past that he has the ceiling to compete with the best of the best, and it would be no surprise to see him in the final grouping on Sunday afternoon.

Tommy Fleetwood (+2000)
Tommy Fleetwood brings the experience and course advantage that you seek when picking your winners at an event like this. With a triumph at Le Golf National back in 2017 in the NHA Open de France on the European Tour, Fleetwood knows this track. Those positive emotions and course comfortability should shift over nicely into this tournament, and his game is peaking at just the right time in his career to finally snatch some hardware. At this price, he's got enough working in his favor to be a valuable bet.
Shane Lowry (+3000)
Shane Lowry has quietly been playing some really solid golf over the past few months, and we're looking to get in on his action. He was able to make the cut in all four majors this season and has three top-ten finishes in his past six outings. He hasn't missed a cut since the first tournament of the year in January and has the upside to be near the top of the leaderboard through 54 holes. Back the Irishman to contend this weekend and perhaps get a few bounces en route to a gold medal.
