Although it hasn't been a good stretch of golf for Doug Ghim, the potential of this player remains something we're going to buy into. When a player with his talent level is priced this low, that's precisely the type of time we're trying to add him to our card. Ghim has the potential to manage this course very well, which should put him in the running on the weekend. His long odds only help and make him an appealing play in a wide-open field.

Eric Cole

This week, Eric Cole is a great value bet at the 2024 John Deere Classic. Cole has demonstrated precisely the type of progress we've been looking for from him, and it's only a matter of time before he puts it all together for four straight days and comes out on top. Cole has some solid underlying numbers with his putter, which should help put him in contention at TPC Deere Run.

Nick Dunlap is a player that we're going to continue to target. With a field like this, only a few select players wouldn't be considered a prototypical dark horse. Dunlap sits in the top 20 this week with his odds, but those would be much shorter if he finally starts playing some consistent golf. Dunlap has been on the hunt lately, and there's real value in him figuring out this course and picking up a PGA Tour victory.

Neal Shipley

It's not hard to get excited about what Neal Shipley brings to the PGA Tour. Shipley has had a dominant 2024 with his amateur status, finishing as the low amateur at both The Masters and the U.S. Open this season. Shipley has continued to be around on the leaderboard this season at a high clip, and although we're waiting for that illustrious victory, the odds are promising this week in a less-than-stellar field.
