And just talk a little bit about your junior, uh, development, uh, what type of player you were into amateur golf at Oklahoma, um, and what do you think, uh, shaped you at an early age to be a very successful uh junior and amateur player? Yeah, so, um, you know, I started playing golf when I was 11 months old. Uh, you know, I started walking early and my, my mom played golf at Oklahoma. My dad played football at Oklahoma, but he's, you know, not anymore. He's probably about a 4 or 5 now, but he was a scratch golfer back in his heyday. And so, very good genetics, you know, my grandpa was a basketball player too, but he's also, I think, like a plus 3 or 4 handicap. So very good golf genetics. I started playing when I was 11 months old, uh, played my first tournament when I was 3, and then. There's always, I mean, I just had kind of the natural talent, um, you know, I won I got top 5 US Kid World Championship from when I was 7 to 12, finally won it when I was 12, and then talking to somebody who also got top 5 at a young age with the US kids. How about that, huh? You and I, who knew? You know that that was. That was the best tournament ever growing up. Where did y'all play? Was it Pinehurs for you? Yeah, so my, so I was at Jekyll Island, man. That's like, that's like OG. Yeah, yeah, I never did. I wasn't, I didn't do Jekyll Island first year I did it was at Williamsburg, Virginia, and then when I was 7, and then that next year it went toinehurst, so. Um, I mean, that week was always so much fun. I mean, as an 8 year old, 9 year old or three events you play every year, you know, and that was one of the big ones, and it was, I mean, it was awesome. So, um, yeah, play, played well, obviously, like, you know, just growing up and then once I got to like 1112, I had a growth spurt, got to like 58, 59 when I was 12 and I started just, you know, hitting a long ways. Where you grow up? Uh, so Oklahoma and Texas, a little bit of both. Oklahoma, then moved down to Berkerne, Texas when I was 2, which is like on the Red River, it's like on the border of Oklahoma and Texas. And then lived there for 9 years, went down to Dallas, and back up to Oklahoma when I was 15. So, so what, what junior tours are you playing growing up? Was it the Oklahoma Junior tour and then maybe some stuff over in Texas? That was mainly uh Little Legends junior tour in Texas. OK, so I played, you know, Scotty, Will's Al Tours. Um, a lot of those guys, are y'all all the same age? Are you 1 year older? You both of those guys are 1 year older than me. They're 1 year older than you. So we, we travel, I mean, especially me, me and Scotty, we, we played, played against each other the first time when I was 6. He was 7, and but we have known Scotty for forever and we traveled together and AKGAs and all that.
