MLB Betting Guide for May 27: Guardians Eyeing 10 Straight

We have an 11-game MLB slate set for this Memorial Day, so as you fire up the grills, here’s everything you need to know for the day ahead around the Majors.

Early in the afternoon, we have two interesting divisional matchups to highlight: the Baltimore Orioles will host the Boston Red Sox in an AL East showdown, and the Minnesota Twins will host the Kansas City Royals in an AL Central battle.

Later, the Cleveland Guardians will look to continue their surge as they remain on the road to face the Colorado Rockies. The Guardians are hoping to extend their win streak to ten games tonight and currently have a narrow lead over the New York Yankees for the No. 1 seed in the American League. Cleveland continues to dominate both on the mound and in the bullpen, so why are we continuing to overlook them as legitimate AL pennant contenders?

Additionally, the Milwaukee Brewers will welcome the Chicago Cubs to town for Craig Counsell‘s return to Milwaukee, which should be a very revealing series in the NL Central. Plus, the Los Angeles Dodgers will look to snap their five-game losing streak against the spiraling New York Mets.

Closing out the night, the Philadelphia Phillies will look to bounce back after their most recent series loss. They’ll remain on the road to face the San Francisco Giants, who have managed to win eight of their last ten. The Houston Astros hope to inch closer to the .500 mark in the Pacific Northwest against the Seattle Mariners.
