The Miami Heat head into Ohio for a showdown against the Cleveland Cavaliers, looking to snap their 11-game winning streak on Wednesday night. With Cleveland in a position to be the first team to clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Heat, expect the Cavs to have extra motivation in this matchup. Meanwhile, Miami has lost seven of their last ten games, and if they don’t turn things around quickly, they could be on the outside looking in when the postseason comes around.

Heat vs Cavaliers Best Bet: Cavaliers -12
The Cavaliers have looked like one of, if not the best, teams this season. On the flip side, the Heat have struggled tremendously since the loss of Jimmy Butler, and it’s shown on the court. Erik Spoelstra is one of the best head coaches in the league, but he has struggled to find a winning recipe with the team’s current roster construction. These two teams have squared off twice this season, and the current series record is knotted at one game a piece. However, each team enters this matchup in entirely different positions this time. Considering what’s at stake for the Cavs with a win, mixed with the fact they’ll have their home fans behind them, give me Cleveland in a blowout.
Heat vs Cavaliers Best Total Bet: Over 223
Cleveland’s offense has exploded in year one under Kenny Atkinson, leading the league in points per game with 123.3. Meanwhile, the Heat rank near the bottom of the league, averaging 110.3 points per game. Even with Miami’s inconsistency on the offensive side of the court, the Cavs should have no problem scoring enough points on their own to hit the over on the 223-point set total. A final score of 124-103 seems realistic.
Heat Best Player Bet: Alec Burks 3+ Made Threes +164
Alec Burks has gotten more involved as of late and with how shorthanded the Heat may be on Wednesday, Miami may have to depend on the 33-year-old even more so against Cleveland. The veteran is only averaging 6.4 points per game, but Burks has shown his ability to be a versatile scorer off the bench over the last few games. In each of his previous three games, Burks has finished with 3+ threes and has a good chance to continue the streak tonight, especially if the Heat hope to keep pace with the Cavaliers.
Cavaliers Best Player Bet: Evan Mobley 20+ Points Scored +140
Evan Mobley has elevated his play this season, averaging 18.6 points per game, and it’s largely due to his increased aggressiveness on offense. The USC product has been encouraged to take more shots, including three-pointers, which has seemingly opened up the Cavs’ offense. In his last matchup against the Heat, Mobley finished the game with 22 points, and he has a chance to have a similar outing on Wednesday.
