The Olympics are underway, and the USA Men’s Basketball team is back in action Wednesday afternoon as they’ll face South Sudan, so we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

Daily Summer Olympic Games Coverage: Where to Watch | Gold Medal Count |
Leg 1: Stephen Curry 10+ Points
It’s hard to single out NBA stars to back in the Olympics on Team USA as it simply comes down to who Steve Kerr decides to play, but it’s hard to imagine that he’ll reduce Steph Curry’s minutes from where they’re currently at. In their previous exhibition game, he had 11 points against Serbia on Sunday and 12 against South Sudan. While we’re cutting it close to the 10-point mark, Curry deserves our backing because it’s hard to imagine a game where he doesn’t put up several shots from beyond the arc.
Leg 2: Jrue Holiday 4+ Rebounds
Jrue Holiday may not have the star-level stature some other guys on Team USA have. Still, he’s extremely valuable as a physical defender, facilitator, and gritty shot-maker. He played the third-most minutes on Sunday for Team USA, and given the current guard depth chart, I don’t imagine there being too much of a drop-off. He had four rebounds on Sunday and four rebounds previously against South Sudan. I expect Holiday to continue to play into being physical down low, giving us an excellent opportunity for him to grab four rebounds again.
Legs 3 & 4: LeBron James 6+ Rebounds, 6+ Assists
Despite his age, it’s clear that this is LeBron James‘ team, so we’ll treat him as such here. Against Serbia, LeBron had a stat line of 21 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds before previously having a stat line of 23 points, six assists, and six rebounds against South Sudan, leading both games in minutes. He’ll continue to play great all-around basketball, so we’ll avoid touching his scoring props by targeting him to get us six rebounds and six assists.
Leg 5: Carlik Jones 15+ Points
Carlik Jones of South Sudan turned many heads in the exhibition game against Team USA as he put up a triple-double, but we’ll only tout him to get us 15 points here. Jones only had 15 points against Team USA previously, but that was on 21 shot attempts. Given the fast pace at which the USA plays, 15 points will essentially be his floor if we get that type of shot volume again. Plus, he ended with 19 points in South Sudan’s Olympic opener vs. Puerto Rico.
Leg 6: Wenyen Gabriel 6+ Rebounds
It’s tough for international teams to match up with Team USA’s size and physicality, so we’ll target Wenyen Gabriel, who has had previous stints on NBA teams. He had six rebounds in the exhibition vs. Team USA, but he saw his minutes increase against Puerto Rico, where he ended up with nine rebounds. I expect them to put a ton of faith in him to battle in the paint, giving him every chance to grab six rebounds.
