Darius Acuff Junior and Keenan Wagler Show Promise in Different Rookie Roles

The weight of the franchise is on Acuff, while Keenan Wagler is being asked to play his game, take his shots and then return to the bench. Wagler does not face the same level of pressure.

Despite some rough performances, Acuff has shown flashes of being a dominant scorer. He has produced 30-point games with strong efficiency while also contributing assists. His recent play has reinforced the belief in what he could eventually become, though his development will take time.

Wagler needs to become more physical because teams will try to bully him and throw him around. That strength should come with time. For now, he has already displayed confidence, poise and an understanding of the game.
