We have an action-packed SEC slate in college basketball for Tuesday night, so it’s time to put together a three-leg parlay for the tripleheader of ranked vs. ranked action.
Valued at +591, let’s give it a go!
Mississippi State vs Auburn: Mississippi State +7.5
There is no Johni Broome tonight for Auburn after suffering an ankle injury over the weekend late in their win against South Carolina. There may not be a more valuable player to his team in the country than Broome to the Tigers, so we are willing to take a chance on the road underdogs here and grab a handful of points with Mississippi State.
Ole Miss vs Alabama: Ole Miss +11.5
This line has ballooned a bit too much for our liking. While it’s been a drastic improvement from last season, we don’t believe Alabama has the defensive capability to boat race a team as talented as Ole Miss, even at home. The Rebels are a well-balanced squad with the third-most Division I experience in the nation, something that could loom large in such a hostile environment. Backing a pair of road underdogs in conference battles can be scary, but we are getting enough points to justify doing so.
Texas A&M vs Kentucky: Kentucky -6.5
Zhuric Phelps is a talented player who should step into a more significant role tonight, but Wade Taylor IV’s absence is far too prominent for Texas A&M to overcome. As always under head coach Buzz Williams, the shooting splits for the Aggies are woeful, and it will only get much worse with their best scorer not on the court in this one. We believe this could get ugly quickly, and Kentucky has been rolling at home this season. Lay the points with the Wildcats here.
