The Nebraska Cornhuskers were embarrassed on national television last weekend as the Indiana Hoosiers, favored by less than a touchdown entering the game, obliterated the Huskers 56-7 and improved to 7-0. The Huskers need to respond, but it gets no easier as they invade Columbus to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State is coming off of a bye week and has a critical game at Penn State next Saturday. The Buckeyes cannot afford a second loss in the Big Ten and will attempt to gain confidence before heading to Happy Valley. Will Dylan Raiola fare better than he did in Bloomington? Can Nebraska’s defense respond positively after allowing 56 points to the Hoosiers?
We’ve got you covered with our favorite plays from Saturday’s showdown.

Nebraska at Ohio State Best Bet ATS: Ohio State -25.5
The SportsGrid model loves the Ohio State Buckeyes in this matchup. The Buckeyes are big favorites at -25.5, but the model likes Ohio State to win by 27 and has placed a five-star projection on this contest. That’s not the only play from the model. The total is listed at 48.5, and it likes this matchup to go over the posted total and reach 51 points. Nebraska’s defense was a top-ten unit before last week when they surrendered 56 to the Indiana Hoosiers. The biggest concern for the Huskers had to be the running defense, as they allowed IU to rush for 6.5 yards per carry and five rushing touchdowns. No doubt, Chip Kelly watched that performance and will have TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins keyed up and ready to attempt the same thing.

The model expects Dylan Raiola to exceed his 0.5 passing touchdowns (-136) projection. Ohio State is not left out of the party as the model placed a four-star projection on wide receiver Emeka Egbuka to go well over his total of 71.5 receiving yards and reach 87 yards against the Cornhuskers.
