10) Missouri Tigers
Missouri looked to be one of the top teams in the nation until their lackluster performance against Texas A&M. Since, the Tigers have bounced with a strong outing against UMass last weekend. If Missouri can finish the season strong and possibly take out Alabama in Week 9, they still have a shot to shoot up the rankings despite falling out of the Top 15.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: Missouri +350
1) Ohio State Buckeyes
The Ohio State Buckeyes are fresh off a heartbreaking loss to Oregon over the weekend. Ohio State nearly pulled off the road win, but a late-game collapse put them at 5-1. Nonetheless, OSU has the talent to win the National Championship, which puts them in the No. 1 spot.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: -700
2) Alabama Crimson Tide
The Alabama Crimson Tide continue to squeeze past their competition after another close call against unranked South Carolina. Nonetheless, a win is a win and Alabama remains a one-loss team. With the potential Kalen DeBoer's squad has, it's hard not to rank them atop the list.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: Alabama -330

3) Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia has seemingly bounced back since its loss to Alabama a few weeks ago. The Bulldogs look as strong as ever and with a big stretch coming up, Kirby Smart's team has a chance to make a statement. That said, Georgia slots right behind its SEC foes at No. 2.

4) Tennessee Volunteers
The Tennessee Volunteers survived a close call against Florida this past weekend, but Josh Heupel's squad managed to remain a one-loss team. The talent is there, but Tennessee has to return to its early-season dominance if it hopes to stay on this list, with Alabama next up on the schedule.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: +100
5) LSU Tigers
LSU proved they are a contender with their in over Ole Miss this past weekend. The Tigers offense has looked strong all season, and the defense finally seems to be coming around. If Brian Kelly can continue to get his squad to put it all together, they could be a threat when the postseason comes around.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: LSU +135
6) Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Notre Dame returned to its dominant ways with a huge 49-7 win over Stanford this past weekend. The Fighting Irish's defense looked as strong as ever, and the offense seemed to be finding a rhythm at the right time—enough to keep Notre Dame in these rankings with a chance to move up.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: Notre Dame -120
7) Clemson Tigers
Clemson continues to annihilate its opponents as the season continues. The Tigers won't get the recognition they deserve because of their lack of top competition, but it doesn't change the fact that the ACC is making a case for a CFP appearance.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: Clemson -170
8) Texas A&M Aggies
Texas A&M remains on the uphill climb after their massive win over Missouri a couple of weekends ago. After their bye week, the Aggies have a huge chance to make a statement with a stacked schedule remaining. Nonetheless, if Mike Elko can keep his squad winning, Texas A&M could be a dark horse team to monitor.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: Texas A&M +140
9) Boise State Broncos
Boise State continues to impress as the season progresses. Heisman favorite Ashton Jeanty poses a threat against opposing defenses, seemingly unstoppable each week on the field. Boise State is starting to become a realistic contender for the 12th seed in the CFP.
Odds to make the College Football Playoffs: Boise State -105
