Big 12 Championship: No. 16 Iowa State vs. No. 15 Arizona State (-2.5)
This battle may be the one game over the weekend that could go either way. Iowa State started the season strong and looked like a lock to represent the Big 12 in the CFP before going through a rough patch midseason. Meanwhile, Arizona State has emerged as of late and looks like a true dark horse team to make noise in the postseason. In this matchup, the Sun Devils' offense will be too much for the Cyclones' defense to stop.
Prediction: Arizona State 34, Iowa State 20
CFP Prediction: Arizona State will find the good fortune of getting a first-round bye, thanks to the loss of SMU in the ACC championship game. The Sun Devils will grab the No. 4 seed, while the Cyclones will be kicked from the playoff conversation.

Big Ten Championship: No. 3 Penn State vs. No. 1 Oregon (-3.5)
The Oregon Ducks are set to defend their perfect record against the Penn State Nittany Lions, who desperately want to make a statement against their conference rivals. Both teams have prided themselves on an explosive offense and stout defense this season, but only one can come out on top. The Ducks offense will be too much for Penn State to slow down in this one.
Prediction: Oregon 31, Penn State 23
CFP Prediction: Oregon grabs the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye while the Nittany Lions fall to the No. 5 seed with a first-round battle against No. 12.

SEC Championship: No. 5 Georgia vs. No. 2 Texas (-2.5)
The Texas Longhorns were one game shy from a perfect 12-0 regular season, with their lone loss coming against the Georgia Bulldogs. Assuming that Texas will seek revenge, expect a dogfight between the two SEC powerhouses. Nonetheless, with the Bulldogs coming off an eight-overtime victory against an unranked Georgia Tech team, they've shown plenty of weaknesses since their last matchup against the Longhorns. This time, Texas will get the best of Kirby Smart's squad.
Prediction: Texas 34, Georgia 30
CFP Prediction: Texas will clinch the No. 2 seed with their win. Meanwhile, Georgia will fall to the No. 6 seed and take on the No. 11 seed in the first round.
ACC Championship: No. 18 Clemson vs. No. 8 SMU (-2.5)
The SMU Mustangs have continued to impress in their first season as an ACC competitor, and now they have the chance to win the conference in their first season. However, they'll have to knock off a Clemson Tigers team that has run the conference for nearly the last decade. In what a close battle, Dabo Swinney's squad will pull off the upset and punch their ticket to the postseason as a 10-3 wildcard.
Prediction: Clemson 27, SMU 24
CFB Prediction: Clemson will clinch a spot in the playoffs, but as the No. 12 seed, putting them in a first-round battle against Penn State. Meanwhile, SMU will grab the No. 11 spot and knock the Crimson Tide out of the postseason, assuming the committee elects not to penalize the Mustangs for losing their conference championship game.
Mountain West Championship: No. 20 UNLV vs. No. 10 Boise State (-3.5)
Boise State and UNLV met earlier this season, and the Broncos survived a close one with a 29-24 win. This game could be closer than many expect and could come down to the wire. However, Boise State didn't come this far to throw away their postseason bid at the last minute. That said, the Broncos will pull away in the fourth quarter and solidify their spot in the postseason.
Prediction: Boise State 33, UNLV 24
CFP Prediction: Boise State will grab the No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff and put themselves in a position to secure a first-round bye. Meanwhile, UNLV will be eliminated from postseason contention.
