4. Arizona State/Texas/Clemson
The easiest quad, by rankings, is undoubtedly the trio of Arizona State, Texas, and Clemson. The ASU Sun Devils won the Big 12 and earned a bye to the Peach Bowl, while Texas lost in the SEC Championship Game and dropped to the five-seed. The Longhorns are hosting Clemson, the ACC Champions. Arizona State is ranked 12th, Clemson is the lowest team in the field at 16th, and Texas is third, for a total of 31.

The Ducks await the winner of the Ohio State versus Tennessee matchup in Columbus. The Buckeyes or Volunteers will play Oregon in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
December 21: Tennessee at Ohio State (-7.5)
2. Georgia/Notre Dame/Indiana
Quad No. 2 is the trio of Georgia, Notre Dame, and Indiana. The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked second, Notre Dame checks in at fifth, and Indiana is eighth, for a total of 15, just one behind the toughest quad. The Indiana Hoosiers play at Notre Dame on December 20, and the winner will battle the Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl.

3. Boise State/Penn State/SMU
The second-easiest quad is the trio of Boise State, Penn State, and SMU. The Nittany Lions have to love their draw. Boise State is ranked ninth, Penn State is fourth, and SMU is tenth. The Broncos earned a bye to the Fiesta Bowl, and they await the winner of the game between Penn State and SMU in Happy Valley.
