It hasn’t been a good year for Missouri Tigers. With the Tigers’ expectations entering the year, they’ve been incredibly disappointing. On the other end of the spectrum, the Gamecocks have been a pleasant surprise in the SEC. There are significant question marks about what the Tigers will do at quarterback, which causes pause considering how good this Gamecocks defense has looked. The Gamecocks have the perfect recipe to continue making the Tigers’ lives miserable in Week 12. It’s a considerable number, but it’s justified when you factor in how these teams have played for large portions of the season.

No. 3 Texas Longhorns vs Arkansas Razorbacks

There’s been a lot of chatter in the college football landscape about the Texas Longhorns cupcake schedule and lack of resume-building wins. Although the talk is warranted if you look at their body of work, I still believe this roster is among the most talented in the country. The Razorbacks have shown up at times this season and pulled off some upsets, which makes this an interesting test on the road for the Longhorns. The Longhorns can probably afford another loss, but I don’t envision it being to the Razorbacks. The Longhorns have advantages left, right, and center in this matchup, and I feel a statement from this group is on the horizon.

No. 21 LSU Tigers vs Florida Gators

The LSU Tigers had a chance to solidify their position amongst the cream of the crop in college football last week at home against Alabama. Talk about a letdown. With the Tigers all but eliminated from the College Football Playoff picture, it’s hard to know what to expect from their team in this matchup. Even with some lopsided defeats, the Gators have been a feisty team to play against. I like the information we have about DJ Lagway suiting up against LSU. If that’s the case, that’s awful news for the Tigers. The Tigers struggle against athletic quarterbacks who use their legs, which Lagway does at a high clip. I don’t think the Tigers will have the correct answers for this Gators offense, and we’ll happily take the points at home.
