Florida-Georgia Matchup Points Toward a High-Scoring Game
The Florida-Georgia game, previously played in Jacksonville, is now in Atlanta. Summerall has done a strong job with the Gator football program, but the point spread may be giving Georgia too much credit.
Florida has been inconsistent, but both teams take a bye before this matchup because of its importance. Georgia is also difficult to fade under Kirby following a loss.
The total of 56.5 stands out. If Florida shows up, it can score and keep the game competitive. If not, the Gators could give up 40 points. Either way, this does not look like a low-scoring game.
Georgia appears to have too much for Florida, but the margin may not be as wide as expected. A final score around 31-20 or 31-17 in Georgia’s favor feels possible.
