Bears vs Lions Thanksgiving Day Preview: Best Chicago Player Props

On Thanksgiving Day, the Chicago Bears head to Michigan to battle the 10-1 Detroit Lions. Chicago enters this matchup looking to snap their five-game losing streak, but they’ll have their hands full against a red-hot Lions team that has won nine straight games. In a divisional matchup, expect a dogfight between two teams wanting to add to their franchise’s history.

Bears vs Lions

For this article, I will focus on Matt Eberflus’s squad. The Bears hope to turn their season around before it’s too late.

1. DJ Moore 60+ Receiving Yards +126

  • DJ Moore has shown all season long that he’s become the clear favorite target in the Bears offensive passing game. He leads the team in receptions (54), targets (80), receiving yards (566), and receiving touchdowns (4), so there’s no doubt that Moore is the go-to option for Chicago.
  • Against a Lions secondary that has struggled against the passing attack throughout the season, averaging 227.2 passing yards per game, the Bears will likely focus on getting Moore involved early.
  • Moore has exceeded the 60+ yard mark four times this season and could look to do it again in primetime.

  • The Bears wideout is coming off his best performance of the season, in which he finished with seven receptions for 106 yards and one touchdown.

2. Caleb Williams 2+ Passing Touchdowns +194

  • Caleb Williams is coming off arguably the best outing of his rookie season with 340 passing yards and two passing touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12.
  • Against a Lions defense that excels in stopping the rush but struggles against the passing attack, Chicago will prioritize getting their rookie quarterback in a rhythm early.
  • The Bears will likely be trailing at some point in this game, if not the entire game. They’ll have to rely on the passing game to keep pace with a high-powered offense. As a result, Williams could toss two or more touchdowns, whether it’s in a tight game or garbage time.
