Broncos vs Saints TNF Week 7 Prediction | NFL Picks Today, Best Bets

The Denver Broncos hit the road for a primetime matchup on Thursday Night Football against a shorthanded New Orleans Saints team. Denver hopes to get over the .500 mark, while the Saints look to protect home field with a win that Dennis Allen’s squad desperately needs to stay in pursuit of a playoff spot.

Broncos vs Saints

  • Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, Louisiana) | Time: 8:15 PM ET
  • Where to Watch: Amazon Prime Video
  • Spread: Broncos -2.5, Moneyline: Broncos -152, Total: 36.5

Broncos vs Saints Best Bet: Saints ML +128

The Broncos enter this road matchup as the betting favorites largely due to the Saints being extremely banged up ahead of the TNF showdown. With Spencer Rattler starting in place of the injured Derek Carr, the rookie will be without his top receiving options, Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Despite the injuries, New Orleans’ defense could make things tougher on Bo Nix than Denver’s defense can on Rattler. That said, the Saints have an excellent chance to get a home win behind their rookie quarterback.

Broncos vs Saints Best Total Bet: Over 36.5

The Broncos have an underrated and old-fashioned offense in Sean Payton’s system. Denver can score in spurts, but the team prides itself on defense as their rookie quarterback continues to deal with the first-year woes. Meanwhile, the Saints offense has explosive weapons, but they’ll be without multiple of them on Thursday. Nonetheless, this matchup may not be a shootout, but enough points will be scored to bet the over on the 36.5-point total. A final score of 24-20 seems a likely result.

Broncos Best Player Bet: Javonte Williams Any Time Touchdown +150

Javonte Williams hasn’t had an efficient year carrying the ball with his 3.6 yards per carry. However, the running back has looked better on the field than his stats show. Williams has a solid chance to get his first touchdown of the year against a Saints defense that allowed 277 rushing yards and two touchdowns to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend.

Saints Best Player Bet:  Alvin Kamara First Touchdown Scorer +430

With the Saints primary offensive playmakers set to miss Thursday night’s matchup, New Orleans could look to lean on Alvin Kamara heavily. The running back will not only be the primary rusher out of the backfield but also be versatile as a receiver, which could be heavily utilized by Rattler, who isn’t afraid to take the dump-off to get the guaranteed yards. Kamara has a good chance to set the tone of the game as the first touchdown scorer.
