Browns vs. Steelers Betting Trends & Pittsburgh Odds

Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From Pushing The Odds with Matt Perrault

Browns Face Historic Challenge Against Steelers in Pittsburgh

The Browns enter a major divisional game tied for first place, with Deshaun Watson emerging as the NFL’s best fourth-quarter quarterback. Few expected that before the season.

Cleveland has not won a regular-season game in Pittsburgh since 2003. The Steelers have won 22 consecutive regular-season home games against the Browns, although Cleveland did win a playoff game there in 2021.

Overall, 81% of the money is on the Browns. There is no master money on the spread, while 98% of the money-line action and 100% of the master money are on the Steelers. It is a low-volume game, with more money wagered on the money line than on the spread.

Pittsburgh’s return from France adds another consideration. Teams returning from overseas trips have struggled this year, and the flight back from France is comparable to returning from Germany or England. That could give Cleveland a slight advantage.

Even so, the combination of Pittsburgh’s travel and Cleveland’s difficult history there makes this close to a no-play game. Pittsburgh has been a house of horrors for the Browns.
