Christian Watson's Ambulance Return Stuns NFL Fans

Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From Game Time Decisions

Watson’s Unusual Return and the Packers’ Dominant Start

Christian Watson’s exit and return created a head-scratching scene. After leaving the stadium in an ambulance, he was brought back in the ambulance and ran out of the tunnel before returning to the game. It was unclear where he had gone, with some discussion suggesting there would not have been enough time for him to visit a hospital. Watson came back into the game and made a catch.

The Packers dominated nearly the first three quarters before shutting things down late. Their performance led to the firing of the Panthers’ defensive coordinator, showing how seriously Carolina is taking its current position.

The Panthers may have a chance to win the division, but they need to improve defensively. With McMillan, Hubbard and Young, their offense appears capable of winning nine or 10 games and competing for the division. The Panthers have not been in this position for a while.

Golden also had a strong game, and the Packers have two very good wide receivers. Green Bay built a significant lead on Thursday night, then leaned on Jacobs and the running game for the rest of the way.
