Lamar Jackson Injury Shifts Ravens-Browns Betting Line

Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From Game Time Decisions

Cleveland Emerges as the Pick as Lamar Misses Practice

Lamar did not practice Thursday, raising doubts about whether he will play. The line was 5.5 a day earlier, with the expectation that it could rise to six if Lamar played. Instead, it dropped to four after he missed practice.

If Huntley starts and Lamar is ruled out, the line could move to three. That makes Cleveland a strong play at plus four, as the current number may be the best one still available. Cleveland could even win the game outright.

Division rivalries can produce unpredictable results, and Cleveland has caused problems for Baltimore before. Crazy things seem to happen when these teams meet, including a previous game in which Nick Chubb ran for roughly 250 yards against Baltimore.

Cleveland also looks like a good buy-low opportunity after its poor offensive showing against the Jets. The Jets’ defense recorded five or six sacks and kept them in the game despite terrible conditions. Their defense is much better than it was a year ago.

This matchup has the feel of a close game that could come down to a field goal, making Cleveland plus four the preferred play.
