NFL Week 7 Previews: Patriots-Bears & Rams-Raiders

Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From Outspoken With Dan Sileo

Week 7 Preview: Patriots Face Bears While Rams Enter Must-Win Matchup

The Patriots appear to have found their groove ahead of a Thursday night matchup with Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears. Both offenses have been cruising over the past few weeks, creating a compelling matchup with a high total.

Williams picked up where he left off last week, helping Chicago earn a win over the Falcons. Meanwhile, Drake May and the Patriots are beginning to put things together. May threw four touchdown passes two weeks ago and followed that performance with three more last week.

The key questions are whether Williams can take another step in his return from a hamstring injury and capitalize against the Patriots’ defense, and whether May is returning to the MVP-level form he displayed in stretches last season. It should be an entertaining Thursday night game that gives Al Michaels little reason to talk about the moon.

The Rams also enter Week 7 facing a game with significant implications. They cannot afford to fall to 2-5, but the Raiders have shown some life this season and could present a difficult challenge.

Los Angeles has been decimated by injuries, with Devonte Adams and Puna Ford going on injured reserve. Despite those setbacks, the Rams remain in the top five in both offensive and defensive efficiency.

The Raiders and the points are tempting, but this is a desperation game for the Rams. With only two wins between the Rams and Chargers, Los Angeles faces what feels like a must-win matchup.
