Patrick Holmes didn't only tear the ACL, he also tore the LCL. Went down to Dallas, Texas to one of the renowned, uh, orthopedic surgeons in America. He's also the team physician for the Dallas Cowboys and had the procedure yesterday. So obviously, you knock on wood, he comes back and we get to watch one of the great players of all time play again because as fans, we all do want that. Uh, he's not coming back anytime soon, obviously, because with both of the ligaments torn, the recovery is a little. Bit longer. So if he came back even November 1st next year, I think, yeah, you're ahead of the game. But you know, you never know. Some guys do heal differently. Adrian Peterson, quite famously came back in a short amount of time and ran for 2000 yards. He's the anomaly there, but, uh, you, we do wish Patrick Holmes well. Go ahead. Now Carson Wentz, the year where he was 2nd in MVP when the Eagles won their first Super Bowl, he had the same injury, only slightly worse. He was able to return by week. 4. OK, so look, if he can get back in October, how's money at that point. I'm just letting you know, just because it was a similar injury at the same time. Fair enough, yeah. And look, as much as I don't like the Kansas City Chiefs, it's more about you people in Kansas City, the fans, than it is the team itself, but the team's a part of it also. Uh, I'm gonna enjoy the next, uh, you know, 1011, 12 months, uh, without worrying about the Kansas City Chiefs, but there's something, there's a different reason I bring it up. First off, and maybe I'm the only guy that feels this way, but I do feel this way. It says a lot about your city and your franchise, where your franchise quarterback and all-world everything. Gets the surgery somewhere else. That tells you all you need to know about how Kansas City runs its franchise and why the players have given it failing grades from an ownership standpoint for a number of years now. You're telling me that Patrick Mahomes has such little faith and trust in the Kansas City Chiefs medical staff, that when they first came back with the MRI and said, torn ACL, I'm assuming they knew LCL and just didn't just, uh, announce it. Maybe they missed. It though, but for Patrick Mahomes to turn his back, and again, it's his body, rightfully in, in, in the right spot to do it, you got to get the best medical care. I think we've all learned a valuable lesson now. You don't get good medical care in Kansas City because torn ACLs and LCLs are rudimentary, easy, every day of the week procedures for orthopedic surgeons. It's not a difficult procedure. And the fact that Patrick Mahomes did not either trust the Kansas City Chiefs medical staff's diagnoses, or once he accepted what the diagnosis, that's medical talk, uh, was, didn't want them operating on him, says a lot about the city of Kansas City and the medical staff in Kansas City and what Kansas City does from a football standpoint in employing good or bad doctors. No, that is, I'm telling you right now, it is very telling that the guy that represents the only chance your franchise has for long-term success moving forward not only didn't trust your medical staff, didn't trust you, and got on a plane and went to Dallas, had the Cowboys physician take a look at him, and had the Cowboys physician do the procedure. I hope I never get sick. In Kansas City I'm gonna die in Kansas City. It's terrible. You can't trust people in Kansas City with your medical attention and life saving procedures. I don't want. Matter of fact, I'm never going to Kansas City. I'm looking at this now. There's a rumor that the top doctors were busy doing barbecue when he called about a consultation. They said brisket. Hold on, the menu, brisket, ribs, and chicken and chicken and chicken and chicken and chicken. That's too much. I mean, how are you gonna get. Consultation. Yeah, so I'm just telling you that is a shot at Kansas City, and I'm sorry, I'm sure the doctors that work for the Chiefs are really good at what they do, but according to Patrick Mahomes, they're not, because I know that the Chiefs, like every team has an orthopedic surgeon on call. Whether he's a team physician or not, every team employs an orthopedic surgeon. Here in New York, it's the hospital for special surgery, does both the Jets and the Giants, OK. Boom. All right, period. Stop. That's what it is. But in Kansas City. Man, you learned a valuable lesson when within 24 hours of Kansas City saying torn ACL, he was on a private jet to Dallas saying, I want a second opinion. You know how offensive that is. It's very offensive. Like if you're a doctor and you're the doctor of record for, I don't care, it could be a business, it could be a team, whatever it is, and that's your expertise, and they pay you a good sum of money to be their in-house guy, right? And as soon as you give a diagnosis. That guy runs to another state, to another doctor who does exactly what you do, man, I'm telling you right now, don't get sick in Kansas City.
