Top NFL Player Props: Gibbs, Henry and Jaguars Overs

Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From NFL Pro Football Today

Four NFL Prop Overs Target Jacksonville, Jahmyr Gibbs and Derrick Henry

Four player props stand out, beginning with two overs in Jacksonville. With players being traded or requesting trades, the Colts may be dealing with poor morale. Jacksonville’s strong run defense could help the Jaguars build a lead at home and create a favorable game script for Bhayshul Tuten.

Tuten’s rushing total is set at 61.5 yards. He is coming off a bye week after looking explosive in the London games. Chris Rodriguez could receive some late work if Jacksonville has a sizable fourth-quarter lead, but Tuten should handle much of the workload. Indianapolis has struggled to stop the run throughout the season, making Tuten’s rushing over the preferred play. His touchdown prop could also be paired with the rushing total in a same-game parlay.

Parker Washington over 65.5 receiving yards at -114 is another Jacksonville prop to consider. He remains a consistent part of the passing game and operates in the middle of the field, where the Colts were hurt by Zay Flowers in Week 1. Indianapolis may not have an answer for Washington in that area. A Washington touchdown could also be added to increase the potential return.

Brenton Strange is another appealing Jacksonville option, while Brian Thomas and Jakobi Meyers are harder to trust outside of the possibility of an unexpected touchdown. The safer approach is to take Tuten’s rushing over and Washington’s receiving over.

Jahmyr Gibbs over 33.5 receiving yards is the third selection. Minnesota’s defense is ferocious and aggressive, so Detroit can counter by getting the ball out quickly. Wheel routes, dump-offs and screens would put Gibbs in space, help protect Jared Goff from the blitz and use Minnesota’s aggressiveness against it. Gibbs could have a bigger receiving day than rushing day in this matchup.

The final play is Derrick Henry over 80.5 rushing yards against Buffalo. Although Henry has struggled over the past two weeks, the Bills have allowed plenty of rushing yards and points this season. With Lamar Jackson back, even if he is not fully healthy, Henry should have an opportunity to return to form. His touchdown prop could also be combined with the rushing over.

To recap, the preferred props are Bhayshul Tuten over his rushing total, Parker Washington over his receiving total, Jahmyr Gibbs over his receiving total and Derrick Henry over his rushing total. Potential under options are more difficult to find, though Deshaun Watson’s passing yards against Pittsburgh and possible unders involving Drake Maye, A.J. Brown’s absence and bad weather are worth considering.
