Things were looking bleak for the USMNT two short weeks ago after a catastrophic 5-1 defeat to Colombia in an international friendly, leaving many wondering if this squad was prepared for Copa America. An impressive performance in a 1-1 draw against Brazil just four days later restored plenty of faith in the team and will have their spirits riding high entering the competition.

As for Bolivia, there hasn’t exactly been that silver lining for them in their pair of friendlies leading up to Sunday’s match. They allowed a combined six goals and scored just one across the two matches against Ecuador and Colombia. Since hiring Antonio Carlos as their manager in October 2023, they have won just two of seven matches and scored just five goals across those outings. It’s easy to say that things could get ugly quickly on Sunday night if the U.S. can get going early.

We’re going to take a flyer on this match with Captain America. Christian Pulisic has a goal in five of his past eight starts for the United States and is also the primary penalty-taker when on the pitch, giving us a bonus on his chances to find the back of the net.

The Pick: Christian Pulisic to Score 2 or More Goals (+550)
