Best NBA Betting Picks for Sunday: 3-Game Parlay Predictions
OKC Thunder vs. Milwaukee Bucks
- Location: Fiserv Forum (Milwaukee, WI)
- Where to Watch: ESPN, FDSWI, FDSOK
- Time: 9:10 p.m. ET
- Spread: Thunder -5.5 | Total: 232.5
- Moneyline: Thunder -194/Bucks +162
Leg 1: Bucks +5.5
The Milwaukee Bucks and Oklahoma City Thunder close out a busy weekend schedule on Sunday night. Both teams enter this inter-conference battle on the second night of a back-to-back. The betting market has the Thunder out in front, but this is an ideal spot to get a piece of the underdog Bucks.
Milwaukee has been on a tear of late. They’ve covered the spread in three straight while going 8-2-1 against the number over their last 11. More importantly, they’ve won seven of those contests, with five coming at the Fiserv Forum. They’ve been hunkered down in Milwaukee since the start of the week and will be ready for whatever the Thunder throw their way.
OKC has been on an incredible 9-1 run. Still, the Thunder have shown signs of slowing down over their recent stretch. The Western Conference leaders are down to 115.5 points per game over their last couple of outings, a substantive, if not anticipated, drop from the 128.7 they were averaging across their previous 11. That diminished scoring is expected to continue on the second night of a back-to-back.
Their record doesn’t reflect it yet, but the Thunder are on the precipice of a correction phase. The Bucks will be ready to capitalize on that regression. Milwaukee +5.5 is the play.
Utah Jazz vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
- Location: Target Center (Minneapolis, MN)
- Where to Watch: FDS, KARE 11
- Time: 7:10 p.m. ET
- Spread: Timberwolves -13 | Total: 233.5
- Moneyline: Jazz +530/Timberwolves -750
Leg 2: Over 233.5
A seven-game winning streak hasn’t resulted in a material climb up the standings for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Northwest Division competitors remain tidally locked to the seventh seed in the Western Conference playoff picture, relegating them to the Play-In Tournament. Nevertheless, the T-Wolves continue to put their best offensive foot forward every time they step onto the court.
Minnesota has extracted maximum offensive value throughout its seven-game winning streak. The T-Wolves are averaging 121.0 points per game, with four of those seven contests going over the total. Moreover, there’s a correlation between the Timberwolves and high-scoring games at home. Minnesota has eclipsed the total in four straight at the Target Center, yielding a cumulative average of 246.3 points per game.
The Utah Jazz remain one of the worst teams in the league, and most of their struggles start at their end of the court. Over their last nine games, the Jazz have given up an average of 123.2 points per game. Predictably, that’s resulted in six of those games sailing over the total.
We’re betting on these reliable over trends continuing at least one more game. This Western Conference affair appears destined for more than 233.5 points.

Toronto Raptors vs. Portland Trail Blazers
- Location: Moda Center (Portland, OR)
- Where to Watch: KATU, KUNP, SportsNet
- Time: 6:10 p.m. ET
- Spread: Blazers -6.5 | Total: 228
- Moneyline: Raptors +198/Blazers -240
Leg 3: Raptors +198
The Toronto Raptors haven’t given up their playoff hopes just yet. Toronto is riding a three-game winning streak into Sunday evening’s showdown versus the Portland Trail Blazers and can make it seven wins over their last eight games with a triumph.
Unfortunately, there’s not much the Blazers can do to slow the Raptors down. Portland has been mired in a five-game losing streak, looking inadequate on offense and defense. Across that sample, they’re down to 110.5 points per game while giving up 119.6. Not surprisingly, they’ve been underdogs in all of those contests and have covered the spread just twice.
Toronto is trending in the opposite direction. The Raps have put forth improved offensive efforts, eclipsing 118 points in three straight. That rejuvenated offensive efficiency is complemented by stout defensive play. Their last three opponents have been held to an average of 109.0 points per game, with only one of those foes surpassing 105.
The Raptors’ chances of winning are more significant than the betting line implies. On that basis, we’re making a play on the Raps moneyline versus the struggling Portland Trail Blazers.
