Best NBA Betting Picks for Wednesday: 3-Game Parlay Predictions
Leg 1: BOS-ORL Over 206.5
Where to Watch Boston Celtics vs. Orlando Magic
- Arena: Kia Center
- Location: Orlando, FL
- Where to Watch: FDSFL, NBCS-BOS
- Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
- Spread: ORL -6 | Total: 206.5
- Moneyline: ORL -230 | BOS +190
- Celtics vs. Magic Matchup Page
After last night’s thrilling overtime win versus the New York Knicks, the Boston Celtics are back in action on Wednesday night. This time, the defending champs are taking on the Orlando Magic at the Kia Center. It’s a low total, but we’re betting this one makes its way over.
Boston has been maximizing offensive production lately. The Celtics have gone north of 119 points in three straight while shooting 48.9% from the field. Still, they’ve been prone to less efficient defensive performances. Two of their last four opponents have eclipsed 117 points, sending both contests over the total.
The Magic have been on a similar trajectory. They’ve gone over in two of three, on the strength of improved offensive efficiency. Orlando is up to a 48.0% shooting percentage, over a three-point jump from their season-long average of 44.4%.
Both teams are operating efficiently on offense, which should result in another higher-than-expected Eastern Conference showdown. We’re making a play on the over in this one.

Leg 2: Spurs +16.5
Where to Watch San Antonio Spurs vs. Golden State Warriors
- Arena: Chase Center
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Where to Watch: TNT, truTV
- Time: 10:00 p.m. ET
- Spread: GSW -16.5 | Total: 231.5
- Moneyline: GSW -1600 | SAS +900
- Spurs vs. Warriors Matchup Page
The Golden State Warriors are getting hot just ahead of the NBA Playoffs, but are also at risk of overheating. The betting market has them way out in front versus the San Antonio Spurs tonight. Still, this one should be closer than implied.
Golden State is looking like its former dynasty. The Dubs have eclipsed 118 points in five of their last six, covering the spread in all but one of those contests. However, in doing so, they’ve raised their shooting percentage and scoring efficiency beyond sustainable levels. Now playing their third game in four nights, the Warriors are at risk of regression.
Moreover, we’ve seen more complete efforts from the Spurs recently, which has caught the betting market off guard. San Antonio has covered the spread in three of its previous four, despite being underdogs in all of those contests. Further, the Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as double-digit underdogs.
The Warriors are on the verge of a burnout, and the Spurs are here to capitalize. A straight-up upset is likely out of the question, but San Antonio should be able to cover the spread easily.
Leg 3: 76ers -120
Where to Watch Philadelphia 76ers vs. Washington Wizards
- Arena: Capital One Arena
- Location: Washington, DC
- Where to Watch: MNMT, NBCS-PH
- Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
- Spread: PHI -1.5 | Total: 226
- Moneyline: PHI -120 | WSH +100
- 76ers vs. Wizards Matchup Page
The wins have yet to come, but the Philadelphia 76ers have recently put together improved efforts. Again, against a weak Washington Wizards side, the Sixers are a solid bet to get off the schneid in tonight’s Eastern Conference battle.
Most notably, the Sixers have improved their defensive play. Philadelphia has held three top teams to 117 points or fewer over its last four games. Additionally, its offensive metrics are on the rise, with the 76ers posting above-average scoring metrics across that sample.
Conversely, the Wizards have seemingly given up on the season. Washington hasn’t cracked the century mark in scoring in three straight, while giving up more than 111 points in all but two games since March 5. Not surprisingly, the Wiz are 7-12 ATS over that stretch.
Far from the most glamorous matchup, the 76ers are deserving favorites in this basement dwellers’ battle. We bet they cash as short moneyline favorites in Washington.
