Grizzlies vs Suns Tuesday Prediction | NBA Picks Today, Best Bets

The Memphis Grizzlies are set for a Tuesday night battle against the Phoenix Suns. Memphis enters this matchup as the No. 2 seed of the Western Conference, while the Suns sit on the outside looking in as they continue to chase a play-in spot amid the team’s struggles. The Suns will likely play with desperation as their postseason hopes continue slipping away. Conversely, the Grizzlies will do everything they can to keep stacking wins.

Grizzlies vs Suns Best Bet: Grizzlies -3.5

The Grizzlies have returned to near full health this season, immediately catapulting Memphis to the top of the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Phoenix has struggled with inconsistent play dating back to last season, which has put them in jeopardy of missing the postseason. Despite that, it doesn’t take away from the fact that the Suns have one of the most talented rosters in the league. Assuming the Grizzlies don’t take this matchup lightly, I’ll take the odds that Taylor Jenkins’s squad makes a statement on Tuesday.

Grizzlies vs Suns Best Total Bet: Under 244

These two teams have battled once so far this season, and that game came down to the final buzzer, with the Grizzlies pulling away to earn a 117-112 win. Even then, that 229-point total is nowhere close to the 244 set total for tonight’s matchup. Although both squads have the firepower to score at a high rate, reaching 244 total points is a tall task for any two teams. A final score of 123-115 seems like a realistic outcome.

Grizzlies Best Player Bet: Jaren Jackson Jr. 25+ Points +155

Jaren Jackson Jr. has put together a career year this season, averaging 23.3 points while shooting 49.9% from field goal range and 37.3% from three. The Michigan State product has been on another level leading the Grizzlies this season, as his emergence on offense has earned him a more significant role each trip down the floor. In three of Jackson Jr.’s last four games, he’s exceeded 30+ points. Assuming the big man continues his dominant play, seeing another big game from the 25-year-old wouldn’t be a surprise.

Suns Best Player Bet: Kevin Durant 4+ Made Threes +240

At 36, Kevin Durant continues to prove he’s one of the best players in the world. The versatile forward is averaging 26.9 points per game, with shooting splits of 52.4% from field goal range and 39.8% from three. With no signs of slowing down, head coach Mike Budenholzer encouraged his star player to pull up from downtown more often as he believes his impact from deep can elevate the Suns back into the playoff mix. In five of Durant’s last seven games, the star has knocked down 4+ threes. Assuming the playmaker continues this trend on Tuesday, I’ll take the odds that he has another big game from beyond the arc.
