Lakers vs Celtics Saturday Same Game Parlay | NBA Best Bets Today

The Los Angeles Lakers are set for a Saturday night showdown against the Boston Celtics. Not only is this matchup a battle between two of the top contenders in the league, but it’s a marquee matchup in one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports history. With extra motivation to grab a win for each of the two historic franchises, expect both squads to come out looking to make a statement.

In what could be one of the best games of the season, here’s a look at a same-game parlay that could place you on the winning side.

Lakers vs. Celtics +1776 SGP

Celtics -7.5 (-114)

  • The Lakers and Celtics have faced off once this season, and it ended in a blowout win for Los Angeles. However, Boston has turned the corner since and has seemingly put their inconsistency in the past.
  • Boston enters this matchup riding a three-game winning streak, and while that may not match LA’s eight-game winning streak, the C’s have looked just as impressive, if not more, in their recent stretch.
  • Los Angeles enters this matchup with a new-look roster that includes Anthony Davis’s absence and Luka Doncic’s addition. Boston absolutely dominated Doncic in the NBA Finals less than a year ago, running almost all their actions against the Slovenian, who struggles on the defensive end. Los Angeles’s lack of defensive presence around the rim could be a problem for them against the C’s this time around.

Jayson Tatum to Score 30+ Points +150

  • Jayson Tatum is averaging 26.9 points per game on the season, and he tends to rise to the occasion in big-time matchups, especially in a historic rivalry like the Celtics and Lakers.
  • Tatum scored 30+ points in two of his last three games, both at home in TD Garden.
  • With Doncic on defense for the C’s to exploit, expect Joe Mazzulla to have the C’s “killer whale offense" look to get the lackluster defender in switches one-on-one with his versatile wings, mainly Tatum.

LeBron James to Record a Double Double +100

  • At 40 years old, LeBron James continues to dominate, averaging nearly a triple-double on the season with 25.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per night.
  • The Lakers star can pick how he wants to impact the game on a nightly basis, whether it’s as a scorer, a passer, crashing the boards or simply all of the above, James can get into double-figures whenever he chooses.
  • In the last matchup against the C’s, the veteran finished the night with 20 points and 14 rebounds, and I expect a similar production this time around in Boston.

Jrue Holiday 2+ Threes Made +126

  • Jrue Holiday hasn’t played since late February as he recovers from a mallet finger injury. However, the veteran seems poised for a return against the Lakers in a matchup in which the Celtics could very well use his presence.
  • Holiday only averages 10.8 points per game on the season, but he’s known to make winning plays, and throughout the season, his timely threes have been a huge part of Boston’s success.
  • In the last three games Holiday has played, the guard has made 2+ threes in two. If he can suit up, I’ll take the odds that the UCLA product hits the mark again.
