We need to start off by breaking down the Western Confernce playoff implications that are at stake tonight given all the important matchups.

Atop the confernce, the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves will square off as the Nuggets only hold a half-game lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder and Timberwolves for the No. 1 seed. For Minnesota, this is nothing short of a must-win if they want any chance at claiming home-court throughout the playoffs and for OKC, they host the Phoenix Suns who are are likely beaming with confidence after they were able to knock off the Nuggets on Wednesday night.

Additionally, the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings will face off for a second straight game after the Mavericks dominated the matchup on Tuesday night. The Kings are a game back now of the Mavericks for the sixth seed in the West, making this a must-win for the Mavs if they want to climb out of the Play-In Tournament.
