1. Bostpn Celtics
Last Week’s Ranking: 1
If the Boston Celtics don’t win it all, their season will be an epic failure. They’ve benefited from an easy path to the Eastern Conference Finals and now face the Indiana Pacers. If the Celtics play up to their standard, it should be a free pass to the NBA Finals. That's the benefit of having the best record in the league! As a reminder, we’ve seen the Celtics become complacent in the past and, at times, against Miami and Cleveland this year. The only thing standing between them and a ring is themselves. They are listed at -150 to win the championship with four teams remaining, which tells us all we need to know about how they're viewed.
NBA Finals Odds: -150
4. Indiana Pacers
Last Week’s Ranking: 6 (+2)
The Indiana Pacers have put together a postseason run to remember for years to come, and hopefully, something for this organization to build on in their quest to become perennial championship contenders. Still, they benefited from injuries to the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks. However, the Pacers can only play the opponents in front of them. Without Kristaps Porzingis on the floor, the Pacers' bigs could assert their will on the interior and be able to steal a game.
NBA Finals Odds: +2800
3. Dallas Mavericks
Last Week’s Ranking: 5 (+2)
I was high on the Dallas Mavericks heading into the postseason. I love what I’ve seen from them to this point, and that's without Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving playing consistently great. They’ve received enormous contributions from many of their role players, namely PJ Washington Jr., which he and others will need to continue if they want to get by the Minnesota Timberwolves. I struggle to convince myself that they can overcome the tenacious defense of the Wolves for four of the seven games, but who am I to discount what Luka and Kyrie can do?
NBA Finals Odds: +500

2. Minnesota Timberwolves
Last Week’s Ranking: 3 (+1)
The Minnesota Timberwolves aren’t afraid of anything, and I’m sure they’ll tell the Boston Celtics to bring it in a potential NBA Finals matchup. First, they still have to get by the Dallas Mavericks, but the Wolves deserve to be favored in this series and should expect to advance. Still, the Wolves cannot afford to get sloppy as they did in Games 3, 4, and 5 against the Denver Nuggets after being up 2-0. Hopefully, that was a wake-up call for them because they can beat anybody, given their defensive intensity and offensive firepower led by Anthony Edwards.
NBA Finals Odds: +270
