Thunder vs Pacers NBA Finals Game 6 Predictions, Props, & Picks

On Thursday, the Oklahoma City Thunder hit the road for Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Indiana Pacers. Oklahoma City enters this matchup holding a 3-2 lead with the chance to close the series out and write their names in the history books by winning the organization’s first NBA Championship. However, the Pacers have proven time and time again they can’t be counted out, and with a chance to force a Game 7 in front of their home fans, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Indiana leave it all on the court to keep their season alive. Regardless, Thursday night’s matchup is expected to be a dogfight.

Thunder vs Pacers Best Bet: Thunder -6.5

Entering this series, few predicted this game would make it past five games. However, I predicted the Thunder would win this series in six games from the jump in my series preview. After Indiana choked away a 3-1 series lead with a late-game collapse in Game 4, the momentum in this series swung majorly. With Tyrese Haliburton nursing a calf injury, the Pacers are bracing for the chance their star guard could miss this do-or-die matchup on Thursday. If that’s the case, it’s hard to put faith in the Pacers overcoming the odds and forcing a Game 7, even if Haliburton is on the court playing at 50% of himself. I’m taking the Thunder to win this game by 7+ points.

Thunder vs Pacers Best Total Bet: Over 221.5

This series has been up-and-down with these two squads hitting the over on the set total. Still, there’s no denying these two high-powered offenses can score points quickly. In each team’s biggest game of the season, I expect both sides to come out swinging and ready to leave it all on the floor. Assuming Game 6 ends in a similar result to Game 5, a final score of 122-113 seems realistic.

Thunder Best Player Bet: Jalen Williams OVER 24.5 Points +116

Jalen Williams has arguably been the X-Factor in this series that has completely swung the tide in the Thunder’s favor. The two-way forward has come alive offensively, and his boost alongside SGA has made OKC’s offense a nightmare to slow down for Indiana. With 25+ points in each of his last three games, including a 40-point night in Game 5, I like the odds the Santa Clara product keeps the streak alive tonight.

Pacers Best Player Bet: Pascal Siakam OVER 26.5 PTS + AST +120

Pascal Siakam will have plenty of weight on his shoulders heading into this Game 6 matchup, especially if Haliburton cannot suit up. However, the versatile wing has seemingly accepted the challenge to lead Indiana throughout this series, and he’s answered the call with three straight big games. In Game 5, Siakam finished with 33 combined points and assists. With the ball expected to be in his hands even more on Thursday, there’s a solid chance he can do it again to keep Indiana’s season alive.
