The Minnesota Timberwolves hit the road for a rematch against the Oklahoma City Thunder after falling to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the young OKC squad at home on Sunday. Oklahoma City leads the season series 2-1 entering this matchup, and with the final game of the series coming on Monday, it won’t be a shock to see the T-Wolves come out swinging to prove they can make noise in the Western Conference as the postseason nears.

Timberwolves vs. Thunder Best Bet: Thunder -12.5
The Thunder enter this matchup as heavy favorites at home, and understandably so. OKC has a league-best 25-3 record at home this season. In their last battle against the T-Wolves at Paycom Center, the Thunder came out on top with an eight-point margin of victory. This time around, I will take the odds that Mark Daigneault’s young squad uses the momentum of the fans in their first game at home since the All-Star break to make a statement.
Timberwolves vs. Thunder Best Total Bet: Under 228
Expect both squads to have tired legs on the second night of a back-to-back. Oklahoma City will have the fans to give them much-needed energy, but the Timberwolves are set to play their third game in four days while already dealing with a laundry list of injuries. All things considered, a final score of 123-104 seemed to be a realistic outcome in this one-sided blowout.
Timberwolves Best Player Bet: Naz Reid 20+ Points Scored +122
Naz Reid may be one of the most underrated players in the league as he continues to shine for Chris Finch’s team. The LSU product is averaging 14.7 points per game on the season as the sixth man for the Timberwolves, but as of late, he’s put together starting-worthy numbers. Reid has scored 20+ points in each of his last four games, which includes playing the Thunder twice. That said, I’ll take the odds the big man puts together another impressive night.
Thunder Best Player Bet: Isaiah Hartenstein 12+ Rebounds +128
Isaiah Hartenstein has done exactly what the Thunder signed him to do in the offseason: crash the boards. The seven-footer is averaging 11.9 rebounds on the season and has recorded 12 or more boards in four of the team’s last six games, one of which was against Minnesota. With Hartenstein often being a tone-setter for the Thunder with his gritty play, it won’t be a surprise to see him be aggressive on the glass in tonight’s battle to give the team a spark on the second night of a back-to-back.
