Victor Wembanyama 2+ Threes/San Antonio to Win (+260)
The San Antonio Spurs hit the road tonight to face the LA Clippers, who have appeared to come back to earth after their initial burst to start the season, losing three straight games heading into tonight. The Spurs are just four-point underdogs, and I think this game is a coin flip. I’ll take the value and back the Spurs to get the win, and I’ll pair them with Victor Wembanyama to drain two threes for a +260 player performance double. Wemby has just two games with at least two made threes, but he has averaged ten attempts across the past two games and now matches up with Ivica Zubac, who won’t be able to guard him on the perimeter. Let’s ride!

Donovan Mitchell 25+ Points/Cleveland to Win (+135)
You can anoint the Boston Celtics all you want, but through the first two weeks of the season, it’s been the Cleveland Cavaliers who have been the NBA’s most impressive team. Kenny Atkinson has this group clicking on all cylinders in his first season in Cleveland, and they are playing well-rounded basketball from top to bottom. Tonight, they’ll host the struggling Milwaukee Bucks in the backend of a home-and-home, so we’ll look for Donovan Mitchell to record at least 25 points in a Cavs win after he just dropped 30 on the Bucks on Saturday. At +135, it sounds simple enough to me!
Anthony Davis 25+ Points/Los Angeles to Win (+110)
Anthony Davis has already played his way to the forefront of the MVP conversation, starting the season by averaging 31.8 points and 12.0 rebounds, and his Los Angeles Lakers look like an actual playoff team. They are heavy favorites on the road tonight against the miserable Detroit Pistons. We’ll look for AD to give us 25 points, as he’s done in five of six games this season in a winning effort tonight. Priced at +110, we’ll take the plus-money value all day.
DeMar DeRozan 20+ Points/Sacramento to Win (+190)
The Sacramento Kings are slight underdogs on the road tonight against the Miami Heat, and I’m not impressed enough by the Heat to trust them as a favorite against a respectable Kings squad. We’ll look for the Kings to collect the win on the road and tout DeMar DeRozan to deliver 20 points in the process, as he’s done in all six of the Kings games this season. At +190, this is a no-brainer for me.
Alperen Sengun 10+ Rebounds/Houston to Win (+300)
The Houston Rockets sit as three-point underdogs at home tonight against the New York Knicks, and I’m not sure that line is justified. Despite being just 3-3, the Rockets have been competitive in every game. I won’t expect the Knicks to walk into Houston and roll over the Rockets. Plus, we’re getting a staggering +300 price on Alperen Sengun to record at least ten rebounds in a potential win, as he has eclipsed the double-digit rebound mark in five of six games this season. At +300, we’re getting too much value to pass this bet by.
Paul George 20+ Points/Philadelphia to Win (+540)
Call me a hater, but despite their 5-1 record, I’m not ready to anoint the Phoenix Suns as elite. They’ve been solid, but they haven’t poured it on teams. Their most significant margin of victory was eight points. They sit as 7.5-point favorites over the Philadelphia 76ers, who have struggled out of the gate but will get Paul George onto the floor for the first time this season. It’s unclear what PG’s workload will look like, but expect the 76ers to look far more competitive than we’ve seen them. They should keep this game close and potentially win it outright, and to do that, they’ll need at least 20 points from PG. Instead of betting the 76ers at +260 on the moneyline, getting them to win alongside a 20-point effort from PG at +540 gives us way more value.
