Jusuf Nurkic Double Double/Phoenix to Win (+175)
The Phoenix Suns will welcome the Houston Rockets to town tonight. As an 8.5-point favorite, I’ll trust the Suns to get the job done against a Rockets team that’s 5-23 on the road. Jusuf Nurkic is coming off a dominant showing where he dropped 18 points and 22 rebounds with 32 rebound chances. At +175, I like his value of having another double-double in a winning effort.
Paolo Banchero 25+ Points/Orlando to Win (+215)
Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic welcome the Utah Jazz to town tonight, who sport just a 9-21 record on the road this season compared to the Magic’s 19-8 record at home. We’ll expect the Magic to pull out the win with a dominant showing from Banchero leading the charge. The Jazz are the worst team in the league defensively against opposing power forwards, evident by Banchero’s 30-point outing against the Jazz previously, so at +215, this is a must-bet.
Bobby Portis 15+ Points/Milwaukee to Win (+125)
The Milwaukee Bucks will be on the road to face the Charlotte Hornets tonight, so I’ll trust (with my eyes shut) that the Bucks will win a game they are supposed to win. We’ll look for Bobby Portis to be a key contributor, as he has averaged 17.3 points across three games against the Hornets this season. Knowing that the Hornets are -670 on the moneyline, getting this at +125 is an incredible value.
Jonathan Kuminga 15+ Points/Golden State to Win (+140)
Jonathan Kuminga has had at least 15 points in 15 of his last 20 games, and I’m all over the Golden State Warriors taking down the New York Knicks tonight. The Warriors have won eight of their last ten games, surging back into the playoff race. At +140, this is a solid bet to make.
Jalen Johnson Double Double/Atlanta to Win (+275)
The Atlanta Hawks are on the road tonight to face the Brooklyn Nets, and the Nets are a complete dumpster fire right now, losing eight of their last ten games. I like the value of the Hawks getting the job done on the road. We’ll target Jalen Johnson to put up a double-double as he has done in four straight games, averaging 18.5 points and 11.8 rebounds with 17.3 rebound chances per game. At +275, this is my favorite bet on the slate.
Josh Giddey 10+ Points/Oklahoma City to Win (+120)
The Oklahoma City Thunder have looked like the most dominant team in the West since the All-Star break. I have no doubt they’ll take down the San Antonio Spurs on the road tonight as an 11-point favorite. Josh Giddey put up 12- and 18-point outings in his two previous matchups against the Spurs, so getting him to score just ten points in a winning effort at +120 is excellent value.
