Just days before the NBA Finals kick-off between the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics, LA’s “other" basketball team will see a Hollywood version of itself on the small screen. The FX-produced limited series Clipped premiers this week. The show revolves around the downfall of former LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his dysfunctional lifestyle and relationship with Doc Rivers. Rivers, who brought Boston an NBA championship in 2008, coached LA for seven seasons in the mid-late 2000s, bringing them to the playoffs six times.
