San Francisco Dons vs Oregon State Beavers

A pair of West Coast titans are looking to enhance their tournament chances with a pivotal win on Wednesday. The Oregon State Beavers have adapted to their new surroundings and will be looking to cash in as presumptive short favorites against the San Francisco Dons. But we're not willing to discount the Dons' chances at Gill Coliseum. San Francisco plays a suffocating brand of defense, which should be enough to disrupt Oregon State's methodical offense. The Dons are an unexpected underdog everyone should circle on Thursday.

Short of winning the SEC Tournament, the LSU Tigers have no conceivable path to the big dance. Still, that doesn't preclude them from upsetting the balance of the conference over the next few weeks. LSU closes out the season with four straight matchups against ranked opponents, including Tuesday's battle versus the sixth-ranked Tennessee Volunteers. The Tigers can push the pace, forcing the Vols out of their comfort zone while potentially pulling off an unexpected win.
(8) Iowa State Cyclones vs Oklahoma State Cowboys
10 Must-Watch CBB Matchups This Week
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are an all-or-nothing squad. They play with reckless abandon on offense, either getting the most out of their offense or falling flat on their face. We're anticipating more of the former against the Iowa State Cyclones. Iowa State doesn't travel well, dropping three of its last four decisions. More concerningly, they haven't recorded more than 65 points in any of those contests. If the faucets start running, there's no stopping OK State from claiming victory.
(2) Florida Gators vs Georgia Bulldogs
Projecting Top 16 Seeds for National Championship Tournament
There's no room for error for the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia is on the cusp of earning a tournament invite but needs to close out the season with a few marquee wins. They'll have that opportunity on Tuesday, as they welcome the second-ranked Florida Gators to the Stegeman Coliseum. Thirteen of Georgia's 16 wins have come at home, which could be enough to tilt the court in their direction against one of the nation's best. At +225 on the moneyline, Georiga is worth the investment.
Baylor Bears vs Cincinnati Bearcats
The Baylor Bears enter Tuesday night's tilt versus the Cincinnati Bearcats as short +1.5 underdogs. Nevertheless, they're more than capable of upsetting the Bearcats at home. Baylor is on the tournament bubble but would be much more secure if they could figure things out on the road. The Bears are seeking just their third road win of the season but can blow Cincinnati out of the water from range. If the three-ball is working, Baylor easily cashes.
Gonzaga Bulldogs vs Santa Clara Broncos
Ranking the Most Likely Final Four Teams
When these teams met last month, it was one of the most wildly entertaining games of the college basketball season. The Santa Clara Bulldogs marched into the McCarthey Athletic Center and defeated the Gonzaga Bulldogs 103-99. This is the Bulldogs' chance for revenge as they look to rebound from Saturday's loss to the St. Mary's Gaels. This line will likely open close to a pick'em, but the Zags are the right side to be on.
(14) Michigan State Spartans vs (20) Maryland Terrapins
All eyes will be on Wednesday night's Big Ten battle between the Michigan State Spartans and Maryland Terrapins. Maryland has been favored in four straight, and that trend should continue against the visiting Spartans. Coming off a monumental road win over the Michigan Wolverines, bettors may be tempted into thinking that this sets up as a flat spot for Michigan State. However, we're anticipating another resilient road effort from the Spartans.
Penn State Nittany Lions vs Indiana Hoosiers
While everyone is focused on Michigan State versus Maryland, an even more promising betting position is developing in another Big Ten matchup. Losers of seven of their past 10, the Indiana Hoosiers are losing ground with the tournament committee. That's an even more precarious position with the offensively-driven Penn State Nittany Lions coming to town. Indiana can't get anything going on offense, setting them up for a letdown on Thursday night.
(17) Kentucky Wildcats vs Oklahoma Sooners
The Oklahoma Sooners can't afford any more slip-ups. Already sitting with a 4-10 record in conference play, the Sooners are showing they are write-offs come tournament time. However, Oklahoma is coming off an upset win versus the Mississippi State Bulldogs as +3.5 underdogs. They can make it two in a row with a victory over the visiting Kentucky Wildcats, re-kindling their tournament aspirations.
BYU Cougars vs Arizona State Sun Devils
With a 19-8 record, including 10-6 in the Big 12, the BYU Cougars are almost guaranteed a spot in this year's NCAA Tournament. However, that mentality could come back to haunt them versus the Arizona State Sun Devils. The Cougars are playing consecutive road games, putting them at a disadvantage versus a Sun Devils side that is coming off an eight-point win as +6.5 underdogs. Thursday's conference tilt is a classic letdown spot for BYU.
