Iowa State -5.5
This will be a ridiculous atmosphere, and it feels like the home favorite or pass here. The Cyclones have not lost a home game since their final one of the 2022-23 season, and we don’t foresee it happening on Wednesday, even against a team as good as Kansas. Expect Iowa State to be fired up, playing in front of a sold-out crowd, and to dominate with their constant effort, intensity, and defensive desire.
Kansas Team Total Under 69.5
If you come to Hilton Coliseum, you better believe you must work for every point. Head coach T.J. Otzelberger ensures that his team prides itself in defense and tiring out the opponent, especially in Ames. The Cyclones have let just two teams topple this total in their own building this year against a talented Marquette team and a buy-game against Morgan State where they were happy to push the pace against an inferior opponent. The Jayhawks also have plenty of talent, but we still think this total should be closer to the mid-60s.
Hunter Dickinson 15+ Points
We want to get some inverse correlation to achieve a juicier price. While backing Iowa State and the under, taking an over on Hunter Dickinson’s points is a great bring-back option. He has cleared this number in 60 percent of their games this season and is their go-to guy when they need a bucket. Being hefty underdogs on the road here, we expect that he will get a fair share of shots tonight to help him clear this number.
