1) Alabama Crimson Tide (7-2)
The Alabama Crimson Tide went through a rough patch in the middle of the season, but after two losses, it seems Kalen DeBoer has gotten his team back on track. 2) Ole Miss Rebels (8-2)
The Ole Miss Rebels made a statement with their dominant win over Georgia in Week 11, and now the team has a chance to finish the season strong and punch their ticket to the playoffs. Ole Miss has seemingly found its identity, and with improvements on both sides of the ball, it looks like a team that could run the table.

3) Georgia Bulldogs (7-2)
The Georgia Bulldogs are coming off a loss to Ole Miss, which has put their postseason chances at risk. Georgia will have to finish the season strong if they hope to convince the committee they’re worthy of a playoff nod. With a win over Texas in October, it’s clear they have the coaching and talent on the roster to compete with any program.

4) Texas A&M Aggies (7-2)
The Aggies enter Week 12 looking to get back into a win column after a bad loss to unranked South Carolina ahead of their bye week. Before that, Texas A&M was beginning to turn heads as the hype around them being a sleeper grew. They’ll likely have to win out to be in the mix.

5) Clemson Tigers (7-2)
Clemson bounced back against Virginia Tech last weekend after a loss to unranked Louisville knocked them down in the rankings the week before. The Tigers have persevered all season long, and they’ll have to continue if they hope to finish strong and convince the committee they deserve to be in the Top 12.
Odds to Make College Football Playoffs: +350
6) Kansas State Wildcats (7-2)
Kansas State impressed through the start of the season, but the Wildcats have dealt with some inconsistencies over the last few weeks. Nonetheless, with the firepower on offense and a defense that can keep them in the ball game, they’ve shown that they are one of the top teams in college football at their best.

7) Colorado Buffaloes (7-2)
Colorado has seemingly put their early season woes behind them as Deion Sanders' squad has turned a corner. The Buffaloes have been red hot and their chances of getting a postseason nod continue to increase after each win. They have a long road ahead, but Colorado is undoubtedly a top program right now.
Odds to Make College Football Playoffs: +125
8) Missouri Tigers (7-2)
The Missouri Tigers are 7-2, but their wins this season have not been impressive. Missouri has kept nearly every game close, and in matchups, they’re heavily favored in, they barely squeeze by. The talent is there, and the coaching is too; it just hasn’t seemed to come together for them this year. They’ll have a chance to make a statement against a South Carolina team that looks like the real deal.
Odds to Make College Football Playoffs: +2500
9) Iowa State Cyclones (7-2)
The Iowa State Cyclones started the season off 7-0 and, at one point, seemed like a lock for the College Football Playoff. However, it seemed the team got ahead of themselves after taking two bad losses the past couple of weeks. The Cyclones will need a lot to happen for their CFP hopes to happen, but regardless, they’re a good football team.
