1. Ohio State Buckeyes
Despite what happened against the Michigan Wolverines, the Ohio State Buckeyes are still a dangerous football team. We remember these two teams colliding in the College Football Playoff two years ago. The Buckeyes had the Bulldogs on the ropes, which included a missed field goal at the buzzer. There's still a strong argument the Buckeyes are the most talented team in the country.
2. Tennessee Volunteers
Rematches are always difficult, especially when you're playing in an elimination game. The Tennessee Volunteers looked much better down the stretch after their defeat against Georgia. You can bet you'd get a different version of the Volunteers this time around.
3. Penn State Nittany Lions
As much as the Penn State Nittany Lions have a strong record, I simply haven't been impressed with their resume or overall play this year. Yes, the Nittany Lions deserve to be in the dance. I just don't envision that they'll give many SEC teams trouble in this spot. Georgia is no exception.
4. Indiana Hoosiers
It's certainly a nice story to see a one-loss Indiana Hoosiers team in the College Football Playoff. The Hoosiers definitely deserve to be in this spot, even if they'll be sizable underdogs in whatever matchup they end up in. I suspect that the Bulldogs would be very content playing against this Indiana team in the College Football Playoff.
