Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears
- Spread: MIN -1.5 | Total: 45.5
- Moneyline: MIN -110 | CHI -106
The Chicago Bears' 4-2 start to the 2024 season seems like a distant memory. The Bears would lose ten straight and end the season 5-12. Nevertheless, we are optimistic about their chances of coming swinging out of the gates versus the Minnesota Vikings. Chicago invested in its offensive line in free agency and then added two offensive studs in the draft. Don’t get too excited Bears fans, but your season should start with a win.
Best Bet: Bears -106

Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts
- Spread: IND -1.5 | Total: 45.5
- Moneyline: IND -116 | MIA -104
The Miami Dolphins head to the Circle City to open the 2025 season against the Indianapolis Colts. The Dolphins failed to make any significant improvements on defense this offseason. The Colts have waited patiently for their offense to come together, and this group will have a chance to shine in Week 1. This game could easily become a track meet and should sail over the total.
Best Bet: Over 45.5
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta Falcons
- Spread: TB -1.5 | Total: 48.5
- Moneyline: TB -126 | ATL +108
For the last few seasons, the NFC South has been the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ division to lose. But after years of accumulating key pieces, the Atlanta Falcons are finally ready to take a run at the Bucs. The Falcons knocked off Tampa Bay in both contests last season, leading to a 4-2 record in intra-divisional matchups. They will pick up exactly where they left off, with Atlanta cruising at home.
Best Bet: Falcons +108
Houston Texans vs. Los Angeles Rams
- Spread: LAR -2.5 | Total: 46.5
- Moneyline: LAR -146 | HOU +124
The Houston Texans got off to one of the hottest starts in the NFL last season, rifling off wins in six of their first eight. More importantly, they are poised to replicate that success in 2025. The Texans open the upcoming campaign with an inter-conference tilt against the Los Angeles Rams. Houston addressed several pressing needs this offseason, rebuilding its offensive line and adding to its defensive coffers. An outright win is entirely plausible, but taking the points feels like a no-brainer.
Best Bet: Texans +2.5
San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks
- Spread: SF -1.5 | Total: 45.5
- Moneyline: SF -124 | SEA +106
When these teams met in the Emerald City last year, the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks combined for 60 points. Replicating that performance in 2025 seems almost impossible. The 49ers have made significant defensive moves, and we trust Kyle Shanahan to have his group ready for the season opener. With heavy turnover on offense, we don’t expect the Seahawks to be prepared to perform. The first one to ten wins.
Best Bet: Under 45.5
Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears
